Right from the start, a lovely milky, creamy coconut with a hint of vanilla, like a delicious cream dessert.
Subtle neroli adds only minimal fine citrus accents, while the other flowers underscore the creaminess and lend a touch of powderiness.
After about 3 hours, tonka and sandalwood join in as well.
The cedar appears after another hour and the fragrance gains a subtly spicy woody facet.
Overall, it is well balanced, soft, creamy, milky, vanilla-like, woody, and the tonka bean also impresses with its nuttiness.

A beautiful linear gourmand that apparently resembles Blanche Bête.
I don't know it, so I can't draw a comparison, though it would fit the house's concept.
Refining familiar DNAs and slightly altering the signature.
Solid, but not my world.

To be honest, Casati had not really been on my radar until now. White therefore came as a very pleasant surprise.

The fragrance is soft and creamy from the very beginning, yet surprisingly light. This creaminess has nothing heavy or sticky about it. Rather, it feels as though a fine, milky film is settling onto the skin - soft, warm and pleasantly understated.

There is also a subtle hint of coconut. And that is exactly what makes it appealing to me. Not the typical coconut that immediately screams beach bar and Piña Colada, but more the scent of a good sunscreen that is still warm on the skin and brings a hint of coconut with it somewhere in the background.

Blanche Bête naturally suggests itself as a comparison. The creamy, milky DNA can certainly bring it to mind, although White feels considerably airier to me. Less dense, less opulent and therefore somehow more effortless.

What I particularly like: The fragrance does not try to be more than it is. It remains soft, creamy and bright, giving the coconut just enough room to add a touch of warmth and summer to the composition.

I think I have found a little summer favourite for myself.
