Kinam Elixir is a fantastic and elegant fragrance. It is an oud fragrance that focuses on sophistication and complexity rather than strength.
The scent metamorphosizes beautifully on skin, showing the true evolution and other facets lead on by Kinam oud.

Love at Second Breath

With Kinam Elixir, it wasn’t love at first sniff. But after revisiting it a few times, something truly clicked.

The blend of ambergris and kinam oud is absolutely stunning—elegant, complex, and with a rare, three-dimensional richness. The spices—from pink pepper and cinnamon to clove and saffron—melt beautifully into the heart, creating a warm, almost hypnotic aura.

It transported me to an oriental textile workshop, filled with the scent of fine fibers, rare woods, and spiced air gently clinging to fabric and skin.

But what truly stands out here is the incredible quality of the raw materials.

A fragrance that needs to be understood, listened to, and then loved. And it’s absolutely worth the time.

Unique Scent

This is dry, very dry, spices on top of a prominent, not-juicy osmanthus with its unique leathery notes. I'm not 100% certain, but I'd wager that the oud in Kinam Elixir is the oud Faizal previously offered on his site under the name Hainan Qinan, which is a rich, creamy, nutty oud. Hainan Qinan also has a light leather note, so between this and the osmanthus, I get a major leather accord. Very unique fragrance.

Pure elegance

Kinam Elixir is a silent tribute to the most revered oud: kinam. Forget screaming or medicinal ouds. Here, there's balance, depth, and an almost austere elegance.

The opening is dry, enveloped in a transparent, essential incense, which paves the way for a subtle, sharp metallic note. At times, an alcoholic, volatile, and dry nuance is also perceptible, likely the result of the synergy between accords rather than a specific note.

Oud is central but plays a subtly: noble, quiet, elegant. Spices and precious woods accompany it discreetly, building an airy yet dense structure.

Restrained projection, excellent persistence. A composition for those who prefer to listen more than to speak, and to preserve more than to display.
