Concrete and More
Some perfumes instill great respect in me because I like them TOO MUCH. I hardly dare to photograph them, make a statement, or even write a review. I don't want to limit the scent to my individual perception. On the other hand, I am tempted to present my very personal connection.
Concrete Flowers captivated me at first sight (the bottle, a gift, still half full, leaked in my car. What a fragrance experience!).

Whenever I wear it, images appear:
Concrete! Freshly poured! Just dry, in the sun it smells dusty. Bright.
Without weathering, without traces. No cracks where dandelions grow. No, that wouldn't be the scent.
My mind searches for places that match the images.
There is so much concrete here! But that's not it. Too old. Too gray. Too dark.
Then I think of the landscape park. Industrial culture. Old concrete, with a new purpose.
There is a "building" - I believe a former air raid shelter - a large block open at the top, the sky very close! Below mostly puddles. A walkway above, also made of concrete. On the high walls, nothing. It invites people to broaden their perception, to concentrate on the little. Unembellished, authentic.
Yes, that's how the scent is! Clear, spicy, fresh, a little bitter. Ginger, pepper, herbs. On concrete, of course.
And then floral. Again and again different facets. None are really tangible to me. It remains bitter, angular. Not sweet - or is it? But not with velvet and silk. Rather naked, with wrinkles, unadorned beauty. Like the cap of the bottle.
And when I have looked at it enough, it becomes calm, warm woody, earthy, without images. A gentle tone.
It lasts long - (almost) only for me.
---
Unfortunately, production had to be discontinued because the perfume contains Lilial, a fragrance ingredient suspected of being harmful to health. In response to my question about whether there might still be a possibility to get a bottle, Daniel Plettenberg, the owner of PMP, told me that a new production with a substitute ingredient is in preparation and hopefully will go on sale in the summer.
Since it is one of his favorite scents, I hope it will be just as good as this one.

Flower Power
I am a child of the 70s, Flower Power and the hippie era - I experienced it all... my first own perfume was Antaeus by Chanel. Friends and colleagues loved it on me (and also hated it :-) ), then came Egoiste, Kouros, and Cool Water. Then my 'fragrance time' somehow came to an end. A job change and the internet led me to Abercrombie Woods. My companion for a long time. When the fragrance was discontinued, the search for MY new personal 'fragrance brand' began. The search is still ongoing.....thanks to parfumo (a curse and a blessing at the same time), I was able to test quite a few, my wallet thanks everyone here for that, however, I was tempted to order a few fragrances in their original form. Long story short - I have found my top 5!!!
A fragrance must awaken memories in me, make me dream, make me happy... and somehow make me unique. At work, I tried out several fragrances and also received some feedback. They became my favorites.
L'air du desert by Mr. Tauer, Sel de Vetiver by The Different Company, Mandarino di Amalfi, Blamage (what are you wearing today?? Great fragrance :-) ) and thanks to Ms. Mayr from PMP - Concrete Flower. It will only be released on August 1st, but the nice Ms. Mayr sent me a sample. I hope the little vial lasts a bit longer until the original is available. MY fragrance - I don't know exactly what memories it awakens in me, but I can't stop bringing my wrist to my nose. Somehow green, a little woody.... my first love adventure at a campsite, a picnic in the woods... this fragrance makes me happy. Therefore 100%.

Somehow, I can't get the image of a chain-smoking florist out of my head with this scent.

Bright, tangy citrus fruits, there's a lot of light here. The flowers are dusty, warm from the sun, the colors faded.

I really like the basic concept, a light, floral-green chypre. But with the concrete, it becomes a modern wow creation.

Radiant citrus note - salty sea air. Unsweetened flowers - ginger.
Spicy, dark green base.
Slim, refreshing, urban. Modern chypre?

The initial burst actually reminds me a bit of fresh concrete. It transitions into a citrus note, which later blooms into flowers.
