Musk Jardin – The Garden of Narcissus
Everything here revolves around the narcissus, a flower I personally adore, which dominates the composition from the very start. Musk Jardin is intensely floral and powdery, but never overwhelming or clumsy. The opening is bright, with grape, jasmine, tuberose, and above all this beautiful, elegant, almost velvety narcissus.
The heart introduces Chinese oud and a subtle leathery touch, but it never takes over—remaining in the background to support the florals. The musk is generous, yet never too animalic; in fact, I find it surprisingly wearable, probably one of the easiest to wear in the entire Faizal collection.
The base, with Kashmiri and Siberian musks, oakmoss, patchouli, and tobacco, keeps the fragrance soft, elegant, and coherent until the end. I mostly wear it in summer, where it truly shines: airy, refined, with a beautifully floral and powdery sillage.
