For a coffee
Mocha is characterized by an intense, strong taste. No wonder, the beans used are particularly dark in color thanks to the roasting process, and the caffeine content is much higher. Of course, I cannot filter this out olfactorily. But this instead:
Mocha is partly refined with rose water, giving the coffee a floral nuance in the complex, dark, full-bodied drink.
This is exactly what Mocha Royale smells like. Dark brown mocha, rose water and, for me, a hint of spicy cardamom.
Anyone who has drunk mocha in the right places, far away from coffee with milk variations (no disrespect intended, I prefer cappuccino myself), knows this characteristic smell when reminiscences of the drink float in the air. Sometimes even sweet and mild, concealing the inherent, strong characteristic. And just as the mocha smells, not tastes, so does this perfume.
A hint of salt included, the rose blends in very well, cardamom not present at all but the pepper seems to provide the necessary vibes. As we move forward, this woody-sweet note is evoked, which makes me think of caramel. Roasted resins, delicate smoke, caressing, antagonists to the harsh purist, the mocha.
There are many coffee fragrances captured in bottles. From sweet to bitter, there's something for everyone. Although I like the smell of coffee, no perfume dedicated to this theme has ever satisfied me in the long term. It will be the same here. Nevertheless, it does not sadden me, because Mokka Royale is an entertaining, olfactory pleasure, well-balanced and hits the spot. So what more could you want?
If we are honest, one statement might have been enough: spicy, authentic, floral-citrus facets, a beautiful coffee fragrance.
But that was okay too. Of all the recently emerging, new, expensive brands that use high-quality raw materials, Faizal Privee stands out here. Explicitly only here.
