Jeg kan rigt godt lide dig
Denmark, oh childhood on the Baltic Sea beach. But Scandinavia and perfume? Not necessarily a pairing I would name in a family duel. And yet the fairly new brands from the north are all very compatible with my preferences. Fresh/green/white/herbaceous? Check! Woody/salty notes? Check! Creamy? Check! No vanilla? Check, very good chances of getting around the stuff. Friends of heavy Orientals might start complaining at this point that you might as well wear body lotion/hand cream instead of perfume, but at least the Clean'n'White faction doesn't cause headache and breathlessness attacks in the office so unerringly.

I bought Flora Danica specifically because I found the pyramid interesting, even though I have no idea what poppy seeds smell like (they taste good, but do the red things smell?). At first glance, there is nothing else in it that could be problematic.

When I was finally able to test it today, I had already forgotten about the poppy seeds again and got down to business with subtle anticipation. A load of fresh hygge please, in the colors white-green-cold oak. First impression: restrained. This is not a silage monster. But: green-fresh-white order was answered. Wild herbs and fresh hay come to mind and marigolds! Definitely marigolds. Mhh okay, they're not in there - what the heck does sweet pea smell like? By chance like marigold? Anyway, I like it so far, it's slightly creamy and has exactly that clean scent that will be my financial downfall. But somehow not quite as customized and pleasing as usual. More pragmatic!

When does the "older" classification actually apply? 30? 50? Flower Muse is not 20, more like 35+. She has a pixie cut, doesn't necessarily wear make-up and wears dark blue turtleneck cashmere sweaters with a beige oversized trench coat. She's sporty, down-to-earth and yet somehow elegant. I want to be her friend!

After 20-30 minutes, the marigold quietly says heidå and the lavender (ha! I even recognized it..because lavender always reminds me of fresh laundry) sneaks in carefully from the side. Not too loud, not as super clean as in Spring Breeze but rather harmoniously creamy and complementary. It becomes (on me! my skin can be quite "funny"...) green-teary, dry-powdery-fresh-clean. Absolutely unsweet! I can understand why some people find it dry/dusty - I think it's great! I can't directly identify jasmine and iris, but a subtle white flower comes across.

The delicate lavender is allowed to remain and musk/woods round off the powdery, dry scent. VERY beautiful, elegant creaminess, perhaps almost unisex in appearance due to the combination (but definitely not before). Flower Muse should work great all year round except for the height of summer. My white and light wood hygge order was fulfilled to my complete satisfaction with a little clean surprise twist and Flower Muse is definitely going on my wish list.
