Summer Stars in My Eyes
This is a perfect unisex citrus for someone who loves green notes and doesn't want to smell sweet.

There is a burst of sour grapefruit that falls into a fresh green note that feels very clean. It brightens and uplifts. There is a fruity note that evokes the skin, not the pulp, of the fruit. And there is a whisper of the jasmine/floral, but the musk and "wet plaster" at the bottom emphasize its unisex nature and keep it mysterious.

I had a sample that I loved so much, I wasn't using it so that I could save the last precious drops. So I finally bought a full bottle and cannot wait to wear it all summer long.

The Champange of Tea Scents
This is the champagne of tea scents because there is something fizzy, flirty, and fun about this fragrance. It opens with a sweet grapefruit and apricot, soft and fruity with none of the bitterness from the citrus. Then green tea and leaves slowly move to the front. That is not something you would expect from such soft and delicate notes, they are usually overpowered by everything else. And yet, there is a period where it is distinctly green tea and leaves. Its like a lightly sweetened carbonated tea drink you get at one of those fancy grocery stores. The website describes this fragrance as, "carefree summer vacations... reminiscent of a crisp white wine spritzer." Honestly, I find it remarkable how completely accurate this description is.

This fragrance creates a good scent bubble around the person wearing it. Its office friendly. It also lasted about 5 hours on my skin, which is just the right amount of time. It gives you the opportunity to freshen up or switch to another fragrance. There are two sizes available a 9ml travel size for $54 and a 30ml full bottle for $135.

Spring/Summer Contender!
There's nothing radical about this citrus floral, but I found it so charming. It's possibly my favorite version of this scent profile that I've encountered yet and a strong contender for next spring and summer. Fzotic does citrus really well!

Most of the ride is a bright kick of grapefruit and osmanthus. Toward the end, I get what I begrudgingly accept as wet plaster but mostly just feels like a milder version of the opening. Luckily, I like the opening, so I'm not mad! For me, it's less fresco painting (invoked in the scent inspiration) and more rollerskating through the park.

Pine Done Right
Monserrat dawns with a gentle pine, aromatic, uplifting, and outdoorsy. There’s something beneath it that gives it some oomph, some presence. It also includes the closeness of pine as well, perhaps pine resin. It’s gentlemanly, not macho, but not as realistic (nor as strong) as something by Slumberhouse. Further on, it becomes damp and close (angelica?), and it is realistic. Lasts about eight hours; does not survive workouts or physical exertion. Subsequent tests both confirm the appeal to my better half (reads as strong/confident). Kudos to Fazzolari; this one is a keeper.

Juicy!!! The apricot is intense at first and then mellows out. Osmanthus is one of my favorite scents and I can smell just a hint of it with jasmine.

Definitely getting the grapefruit and apricot up front, juicy fruit is first impression. Carrot comes though in the dry down, more grocery.

Eclat during the fresco renovation: industrial paint on damp plaster, the break apricot & grapefruit peels were disposed of in the jasmine bush...

First impression: Aquatic.
Second impression: Citrusy, then sweeter fruit.
Third impression: Incense, then comes the wet mortar :-(

At first, it smells strongly of multivitamin juice, later like construction mortar. Somehow, I quite like the combination.
