Woody-peppery-powdery enjoyable boredom
Touch for Men is basically the only other Burberry scent I kind of enjoy together with London for Men, and the good old Burberrys from 1992. From the very first sniff, Touch screams “2000s” all over: that synthetic musky-watery texture, the spicy woodiness, the softer hint of violet leaves providing a powdery feel conforming to that “androgynous” type of “new millenium’s urban-informal elegance” so many masculine scents of that decade seemed conforming to. And a really enjoyable smoky vibe (I guess coming from vetiver), just to keep it “manly” enough. Slightly reminding me of Nemo by Cacharel, albeit much less heavy on the spices, but somehow they share a sort of common “mood”; both are mellow, kind of plastic in a fascinating way, spicy and exotic but with a peculiar sort of smooth and slightly aqueous texture. Touch smells just fresher and more focused on vetiver/cedar and spices, with a musky base and a powdery frame, but there’s indeed a tonka-nutty breeze that makes Nemo come to mind. However that’s it, the evolution is almost absent, the projection is elegantly close to skin. Miles far from being a groundbreaking scent, not the greatest quality around for sure... but still a decent crisp fragrance less generic than it may look.

A Touch of Downy and Pure Sensuality
I started to appreciate Burberry colognes only in the last few years, and Brit Rhythm was the first blind buy I won on eBay auction. Then came Sport with its red elastic band, London, Brit, Brit Rhythm Intense, Brit Splash, and recently Touch. I don't have Burberry Man and Mr. Burberry series yet, and I am unsure whether to buy Weekend and The Beat, the latter has very poor longevity and sillage when tested on my skin. So far, I overlooked Touch, perhaps due to its light blue color, which is delicate yet reminds me of Davidoff Echo, Lanvin pour Homme, or Azzaro Chrome. Don'tDon't get me wrong, and I love all of them, I didn't want to have another ozonic, metallic, aquatic clone in my wardrobe.

Miserably, I was wrong, because it is reminiscent of none of them. Touch is as a woody-musky-aromatic scent. It combines floral and citrus scents with a hint of cedar, musk, vetiver, and spice. What comes out of this blend is a pure but sweet scent that lingers on you for a long time. It does not stand out initially, but it grows in on you.
Initially, it graces the skins with a soft, fresh, and watery violet leaves along with citrus mandarine petitgrain and aromatic slight medicinal artemisia. Here, the perfume begins to move from the lightest of comfort to a more rounded warmth that buzzes with a creamy evergreen. It'sIt's so soft and incredibly comforting, like a bright white most beautiful cotton shirt you put on right after the morning shower... A somewhat soapy, powdery, and gentle aura prevails.

While floating to its enchanting heart, the opening blends nicely with Virginia cedar, refined white pepper, and nutmeg, imparting more sweetness and some faint spiciness to the blooming violet with dry woods serving as a backdrop to its powderiness.

The dry down becomes a bit more subtle, and the other notes come forward of the white musk and tonka bean. Touch ends with a light vanilla-like accord. There is a heavy tonka bean base note that is particularly strong, and if you don't like that sort of scent, then you're not going to enjoy Touch for Men.

My overall impression of Touch is of cleanness, not only the clean lathers and talcum powders of a barbershop but the fresh smell of freshly laundered clothes dried outdoors in the summer sunshine. The ubiquitous violet leaf is further transported to its comforting base, where it is reinforced with sweet tonka bean, clean skin musk, and a dash of vetiver roots for smokiness. This powdery, floral composition is a quality fragrance and has mediocre projection and longevity on my skin and clothes, regrettably.

Brilliantly made and named as it is a continuous touch of soft and fresh sensuality. The sensation of lying in a newly bad just made after using your favorite shower gel can be intoxicating. If you are like so many other men who prefer fragrances that speak of dangerous adventure, treasures, and elegant wisdom, Touch is not for you. It is soft like a spring morning dawn, the Touch of your mom's caress, the first kiss you ever received.

It is springtime now when I first tried this. It has that smell of spring too it. Various fragrances like springtime, new, refreshing, and alive fill it. It's very catching and seductive. You will either like it or not. If you want it, you will notice the scent grabs you right from the first spray. It's a spring-summer fragrance that could bet worn at any time of the day, in your leisure time, as well as during your working time.

Have a lovely Easter Monday, folks.

Thank you friend
My friend imported bottles of perfume from Australia. I had originally ordered Invictus Legend from her because my bottle was running low. Invictus Legend is one of the few good blue scents but I digress. She insisted I test this instead. It was the first time I recognized violet in a fragrance.

We all must take a journey along in fragrance to find the notes we love the most and what combinations of notes we love for any occasion.

Burberry Touch is a tapered bottle resembling an exaggerated v taper of a man in a suit with broad shoulders. The cap is wooden and nice. There really isn't alot to Touch. The name suggests it's purpose. You have a light citrus-floral opening. Some call it soapy, but on my skin and not on a card, it smells nothing like soap or bodywash. On my skin the citrus dissipates quickly. Next there sits the beautiful 'cool sensation' of violet balanced with white pepper that's further accentuated with cedar. Creamy tonka bean rounds out the vetiver and musk in the base. Base notes are important because they affect sillage and longevity the most. The perfumer carefully crafted this perfume in a way that let's the cool violet linger ever so sweetly with a 'touch' of powder (the synergy of violet and tonka bean is key) waft from my skin for three hours in 90 degree heat and 30% humidity. After three hours, the violet sits closer and creamy tonka can be smelled. I have no issues with projection or longevity with Touch. Projection and sillage is a proper arms length, even in the harsh heat and sweat of Cambodia. Now my bottle is empty but I keep the bottle because the violet note clings to the cap and is so soothing for me to smell. I already loved tonka bean but I had no idea how much I love the note of violet.
Now my perfume journey has me seeking other violet fragrances. Thank you my friend for suggesting this fresh beautiful floral fragrance. It's almost unisex. It was 20 years ahead of it's time and to me it is timeless.

A nice one for Spring
I see this as a nice casual Spring fragrance. Woody, fresh and a bit powdery. I get the vibe of "baby powder" that many are talking about.
The smell is quite pleasant, easy to enjoy, not that strong but not that weak either.
The Violet is pretty present here.
It smells quality, that's what I enjoy about it. It doesn't smell cheap even if it is a cheapie. Somewhere around 20-30$ for a 100ML bottle. Nice looking bottle and nice sprayer as well. Performance is pretty decent. 7 hours, maybe even pushing a bit if you spray more. Sillage and projection are moderate, not weak, not beastly. Some people really love this one. I do encourage you to give it a shot !

A spicy-sweet masculine
I like this one. Burberry Touch for Men has some very likable qualities, which is enough to keep me intrigued.

This fragrance opens as a somewhat herbaceous aromatic, however this is not just green herbs, it's a touch powdery and sweet as well, adding to this fragrance's complexity. The pepper note alongside the violet leaves creates an interesting tartness that can either agree or disagree on your skin, depending solely on the individual.

Some find this fragrance sweet and powdery, however to my nose it's more spicy-sweet in a masculine sense, and powdery in a way that isn't like baby powder. It smells like a powdery blend of wood shavings and ground nutmeg.

The sillage of Burberry Touch for Men is strong but not overwhelming. It's a nice balance between being casual and formal, a fragrance that can suit almost any occasion.

Supposedly Burberry Touch for Men is a hit with the ladies, and I can certainly see why. This fragrance is soothing and masculine without trying too hard. In a sense it's perfectly balanced.

The longevity was really impressive, lasting a lot longer than I expected it to. I honestly don't think this fragrance could suit just any man, so it is worth testing before buying. I nearly bought this fragrance blind myself because I couldn't manage to track it down. I am pleased to have discovered it, but I don't think it's a fragrance that I could ever pull off.

Burberry defo got a deal on a load of tonka bean. There's a fleeting splash of aquatic peppery ozonic niceness then tonka bean, lots of it.

Former signature scent. Now, I can't ignore the oily, rubbery base. The powder used to be the star. Now=oily, spicy, powdery in that order.
