Spanish Tobacco Ibraq 2023

Did you know we share 98% of DNA with chimps? does that make us similar? yes kind of, but not really... With Atlas and "Spanish Tobacco | Ibraheem Al.Qurashi" that 2% difference is the difference between ugly and beauty.

For starters, I "like" the megamare DNA, however Megamare is so rusty that for me is unwearable, then I found Atlas which way more wearable, more rounded (improved megamare basically).

I don't like Lattafa perfumes, they're mediocre, low quality, however Atlas is one of the few that are worth, Atlas is worth your mind and time.
BUT

I've had situations were Atlas felt just innapropiate, people reacted with "wtf is that smell" and it felt a bit too much, I usually don't think too much about what people thinks of my perfume but with Atlas was a bit difficult because is so laud, so "offensive" and super salty.

"Spanish Tobacco | Ibraheem Al.Qurashi" is everything Megamare and Atlas couldn't be, it's the charming, wearable and beautiful version,

You'll find that marine DNA of course, and at first sniff you'll think is the same, but the cocoa, amber, woods and tonka bean add a warm counterpart that balances all the salty marine mess, it's better smelling, better rounded, it's a bit sweeter, making it more versatile.

In terms of performance it's been of course a beast, because the calone and ambergris are super heavy molecules, basically you have:

1. Better Scent, like 1000% better
2. Better Performance
3. Better Quality

I think that you can totally enjoy "Spanish Tobacco | Ibraheem Al.Qurashi" without having a special like for Megamare or Atlas.

As you might find a woman attractive, but you wouldn't kiss a chimpanzee, even though they are 98% the same.

This is an amazing Saudi perfume house that regularly does special offers. That’s how I came into possession of this scent. The top smells of Tonka bean and an aquatic note. In the heart is pure cocoa richness alongside a tobacco undertone. The basenote consists of wood and amber. This is a really enjoyable fragrance for all occasions.

Well today I will talk about one of the hidden gems from the Saudi perfume house of Ibrahim Al Qurashi.
If you want to enjoy a luxurious summer, spring and autumn fragrance that is suitable for luxurious night outings, this is the fragrance for you.
Who is looking for a similar fragrance that follows the same path as the famous fragrance Megamare Orto Parisi and not an imitation of the famous fragrance … this is your best choice.

Scent:
The fragrance opens with fresh marine scents mixed with Tonka bean and Saffron.
The heart of the fragrance contains a very noticeable note of cocoa, then a lesser note of amber and very little Spanish tobacco.
The base of the fragrance consists of a noticeable note of Woods and less noticeable notes of Iris and Jasmine.

Performance:

Initial projection is moderate at around arms length. Sillage is strong with an easily noticeable scent trail. After a round 6 hours the projection and scent trail were gone and it was left as a skin scent.
It stays on clothes for about 24 hours or more.

When to wear:

This is a Summer/ Spring fragrance most suitable for evening wear. I would not consider this an office friendly fragrance, but it would be a great pick for a date night.

Blind buy:

The fragrance is not safe to buy blindly and should be tried first before purchasing, if you like Megamare fragrance you will simply love this fragrance because mostly similar to it and does not have a stinky marine scent.

Final verdict:

The scent itself was very enjoyable. I liked the transition between the opening and dry down, I think the marine and Cocoa notes were very fun and worked well; overall a nice olfactory experience.
A fragrance worth trying and owning.
