Mexican Tobacco Ibraq 2023

I blind bought their tobacco line mini set and this has shot to the top of my tobacco favorites; comfortably next to Montabaco Intensivo and Mystery Tobacco, though not at all redundant. Incredibly rich and spicy. I don't get much chocolate, but there is a depth to the fragrance I attribute to it. The lilac and rose are lovely here, keeping this from being gourmand, yet not standing out on their own. This evokes some similarities to City Rhythm Barcelona, minus the red wine, but I wouldn't call them sisters. For me it more closely resembles Kayali Invite Only Amber, or the dupe Kaheela Lux, in ambery spiciness, with the tobacco standing out more here. I vacillate on whether they are redundant, yet I would say this smells higher quality. For a tobacco fragrance, I feel this is quite unisex. I've been impressed with their tobacco series overall, with French being another standout.

I blind bought this because of being on a hunt for chocolate perfumes and.. I can't smell much of the chocolate. It's there somewhere but I wouldn't even call this a Sweet fragrance. This is a Spicy and Woody oriental scent. It get's Smoky too.. well here's a list of what comes to my mind as I smell it:

1- When you first spray it, it doesn't seem like the type of perfume to last long. But it actually does. The type of scent that you'll catch whiffs of it out of nowhere as a reminder that's still there.

2- It's very spicy (mainly the Cinnamon) and smoky (Cedarwood and Tobacco) but also somewhat Gourmand or edible.. but barely.

3- You can clearly smell the florals. Both Lilac and Rose are easily recognized. And brings some cleanliness. Brings some balance into the very masculine scent Mexican TBC is.

4- The bottle is beautiful and the sprayer is fantastic.
