Smells exactly like what it’s trying to mimic, a madeleine cookie with a peach marmalade top and sprinkled with toasted coconut. The peach and apricot smell very distinctly jammy and the coconut is a wonderfully warm and toasty segue to the buttery cookie dry down. Very gourmand and very foodie, but so freaking good.

Biscuit Gourmand

Got a 2ml decant from Scent Split, sprayed once on each wrist and once on my neck. Has a syrupy boba scent to start with, particularly on paper, and then immediately dries down to a pleasant peach, on the candylike / synthetic side to me. Scents tend to stick very close to me, and I'd say it radiates at arm's length for an hour or so, then begins to hover around my skin. Turned significantly more buttery after that, veering on playdoh, and stays there -- I'd say biscuit and pastry notes are quite accurate. The coconut is subtle but rounds it out. Leans more juvenile as a gourmand scent for me, I have a feeling my younger sister in college would adore this, but it's a more full bodied sweet scent, not too cloying for everyday, passable for the office since the sillage was almost nonexistent for me after a bit. Still very edible and yummy, especially around that one hour mark, my boyfriend liked it especially in those first moments.

Unisex Gourmand

This fragrance is a very unisex gourmand, and it's mature, although completely appropriate for all ages. The longevity is incredible. I had to shower to remove the scent, and the sillage/projection is on the higher end of average.

I found it non-linear. AALV-MDP opens with sweet, creamy peach and apricot notes, more fresh than jammy. On me, the coconut becomes noticeable very quickly. The sweetness of the coconut is natural, more realistic and definitely has no sunscreen vibe. It seems to provide the backbone for the creaminess I perceive in the fragrance.

After about an hour, a very realistic pastry note (like a baked pie crust) appears. It is a bit dry but very pleasant contrast to all the sweet, creamy fruit. The vanilla seems more boozy, not as sweet as many vanillas, which is great as it keeps the fragrance from becoming too sweet. Great fragrance for going out on a cold fall or winter evening.

I wanted to love it.

I was so sure that I would like this perfume. I love vanilla and gourmands. But it's not for me.

Very linear scent: sweet concentrated vanilla and BROWN crumbly cookies - but very synthetic. Those cheap cookies with sugar that are in a decorated metal box at grandma's house.

The good thing is that the scent doesn't have a buttery note, which always makes me sick.
