Ferrero Roche made Perfume

PAPER STRIP TEST ONLY:

I know this is a new product, so the event hasn’t had time to macerate. However, I’m already a fan!

Sure, there’s a plasticky chocolate note but it doesn’t trouble me much as it is. My suspicion is that it will smooth out during maceration.

I get a lovely lactonic note coupled with a lovely vanilla which gives me hope for a beautiful wear in the future.

I’ve heard some people say that this smells like a Ferraro Roche chocolate candy prevalent around the holidays and common in gift baskets. Upon the dry down, I think that’s a fair comparison. The chocolate dusting is spot-on and there’s a pleasant nuttiness not dissimilar to the candy itself. I think it’s coming from the pistachio note listed, but that nuttiness reads more of an ambiguous — albeit lovely — nut in a chocolate bar.

I don’t get the caramel, which frankly, I don’t mind. I really like this and plan to purchase a full bottle in prep of the colder months.

It’s a more grown up version of ChocoMusk while retaining a gourmand chocolate scent. 8.5/10 Will report back with a full wear test!

Hazelnut Choco

After I already wrote a statement about this fragrance, I decided today to also write a review, simply because it (to put it briefly) has become one of my favorite scents.
I am always on the lookout for that one special chocolate fragrance, and with Choco Brown, I finally found it, even though it is predominantly a nutty gourmand, but we will get to that shortly.
The fragrance pyramid sounded promising, the opinions were mostly positive, so I bought a bottle for a small price and was finally able to test it extensively myself.

The name is somewhat misleading, because instead of chocolate, I immediately perceive hazelnuts right after spraying. Fresh, very aromatic hazelnuts with a slight bitter roasting note.
Shortly after, it becomes more chocolatey.
A thick, very rich chocolate nougat cream is added that is full-bodied and not too sweet. The cream is enveloped by a crunchy-fresh crispy caramel wafer coated in milk chocolate.
As I have mentioned before, Choco Brown also smells very authentic to me like Rocher, which is one of my favorite sweets.

The scent remains linear, but over time it becomes creamier and sweeter, yet it is never too sweet.
The longevity of over 10 hours is very good. I can still perceive it on clothes the next day. The price-performance ratio is absolutely top-notch.

Even though the name suggests a pure chocolate scent that I initially expected, I am very happy to have it in my collection and will definitely get another bottle at the next opportunity.

Ferrero Rocher in a bottle

Looking for an affordable gourmand? Then you’re in the right place.
"Choco Brown | La Fede" offers great performance for a low price, good quality, and the most important thing is of course the scent, which is really nice and unique.
I myself have tested many chocolate scents, whether it’s Chocolate Greedy, "Choco Musk (Eau de Parfum) | Al Rehab", "Bisquit | Arte Profumi", "Dark Chocolate, Rum, and Vanilla | The Dua Brand / Dua Fragrances", etc.
Choco Brown does not remind me of any of these fragrances.
It is a standalone scent that does not solely focus on chocolate.

Especially in the opening, you get a full blast of hazelnut and walnut.
It smells like that thin, crispy hazelnut wafer with the creamy nut filling in the Rocher.

And even in the dry down, Choco Brown remains totally nutty.
The chocolate takes its time to become prominent.
But even then, it’s not a pure chocolate scent.
For me, it’s more the hazelnut that is the most prominent, accompanied by a creamy chocolate note.
Peppermint, who lent me this fragrance to test, said that it smells like Ferrero Rocher, and I feel the same way.
By the way, I don’t perceive any pistachio at all.

Sillage for the price is top-notch.
Longevity is 2 days on clothing and sillage/projection is definitely above average but not a beast.

Is it really a feminine scent?
I would say that "Choco Brown | La Fede" smells more unisex (W60%/40%M).
And like with every sweet fragrance, La Fede is not for summer, but otherwise, you can wear it anytime.

My conclusion: a really great scent that deserves more attention.
I find the name a little misleading because the nutty notes are the most prominent, but otherwise, I have nothing to criticize here.
I will probably get a bottle when it gets a bit colder.

Great Gourmand!!!

Getting such a great scent for so little money is initially very impressive. It truly starts with a very authentic delicious dark chocolate mixed with many hazelnuts and pistachios combined with milk, but it is not sharp or biting at all, rather very intense and full-bodied. You can't get enough of it. After about 10 minutes, a beautiful twist comes in, as a very pleasant tobacco note is added; the chocolate and milk remain, but the nuttiness quiets down, and it becomes even more mature and absolutely unisex. It is important to note that it is neither extremely sweet at the beginning, in the middle, nor at the end.

Chocolate Scent

This fragrance smells absolutely wonderful like chocolate! Definitely something for gourmand lovers!

In this scent, chocolate and hazelnut are at the forefront. It has a dark chocolate note. Interesting. I've never smelled anything like it before!

But it doesn't just smell like chocolate and hazelnut. On the one hand, because there are of course other notes included, but also because it brings a beautiful perfume scent with it.

So you don't just smell like a dessert, but also like a delicious perfume that is incredibly well made for the low price.

Definitely worth a try!
