The white rose
Of course, this does not refer to the courageous "White Rose" resistance group, which opposed the Nazi regime during the Second World War and whose young members had to pay for this with their lives. Probably one of the saddest chapters in German history, from which lessons have hopefully been learned.
As with the black Opera Noir L'or from Khadlaj's La Fede series, we once again have this beautifully designed, heavy and high-quality bottle with a neat cap, which also offers a good spray, but now in white.
As contrasting as the color of the two bottles is, so is the fragrance itself. Here we find ourselves in a bright and lovely setting. We are sitting at a beautifully laid table with a white tablecloth, enjoying a dessert of fresh sugared pears, raspberries and lychees. In the middle is a large bouquet of magnificent freshly cut white roses, whose scent is increasingly mingling with that of the fruit. Nothing disturbs, everything harmonizes with each other.
Here, too, we have good longevity and sillage, which at first seems a little "less" than its black counterpart, but it is not. This impression initially only arises because there is no oud / eaglewood here, but rather a rather restrained fine cedar that gives the white rose its deserved precedence.
And you can still get that for 20 euros!
