Another Bianco Latte Alternative?
I contemplated for a long time whether I should get Toffee or not. Although I like the DNA, I was unsure if I needed another fragrance that goes in this direction, as I already own "Eclaire / اكلاير | Lattafa / لطافة" and "Tiramisu Caramel | Zimaya".
However, since it was available at a very low price for a time, I decided to take the plunge and buy it blind to finally test it.
"Toffee" starts with a very delicious soft coffee note - very milky and creamy, like a cappuccino with lots of foam.
The coffee note slightly recedes and makes way for caramel and milk.
It smells like warm vanilla milk with lots of honey and freshly baked crispy cookies or waffles drizzled with caramel syrup.
Very deliciously gourmand, but not too authentic.
Later on, musk is added, giving the fragrance a soft and warm note.
Toffee is a very linear fragrance that does not develop from the opening to the drydown.
Although it tends to be more feminine, it will surely appeal to men who like the DNA of Bianco Latte as well.
The longevity is moderate at 6 hours, but it could be better.
The price/performance ratio is still top-notch, as the fragrance is sometimes available for under 15 euros.
In summary, "Toffee" is a very nice, milky-sweet, creamy, and delicious gourmand. The caramel note remains present throughout the entire fragrance journey, which I liked a lot.
For me personally, the similarity to "Eclaire / اكلاير | Lattafa / لطافة" & Co is too great, even though "Toffee" is an independent caramel fragrance.
However, anyone looking for another alternative to this DNA should definitely test "Toffee".
