Horse riding in the south of France in late summer
Indigo Suede is a modern leather scent that I would describe as masculine with a great fragrance development and crazy durability
From the very first spray, you can smell the leather, but it is covered by a beautiful floral note. I can clearly smell mandarin and sense lavender. However, I am not standing in a lavender field, but walking through the countryside, in the distance you can see the lavender swaying in the wind. But the leather is already in the background. I don't notice any smoke yet.
As the day progresses, the leather becomes more dominant, the fruity notes fade and make way for the lavender. At the same time, a light smoky note joins in - but more like a glowing candle and less like a campfire. I hardly smell any wood, for example.
Towards evening, the lavender also disappears, leaving behind a pleasant, warm scent that is characterized by leather and an incredible cosiness (no idea what that is exactly). You can still smell it clearly at this point.
The longevity is absolutely crazy. I can still smell it clearly in the shower the next morning. And the clothes still smell 2 days later. The sillage, on the other hand, is good, but not extreme.
The perfect fall fragrance for me. I love smelling it on myself and feeling how the fragrance smells a little different every time. It starts floral, fruity and ends cozy - perfect for an autumn day. However, I can also imagine that it is not the right fragrance for everyone. The leather and slightly smoky notes give the fragrance a few rough edges - but that's what makes it interesting for me in the first place.
In my opinion, it's also great for the office and leisure time, I just find it a little too dominant for going out to eat.
