Amarena Cup with Lots of Syrup
Ruby would have been the more fitting name, because the first thing that hits my nose after spraying is bright red, ripe cherries. Amarena cherries, to be precise, with an extra portion of syrup. Alongside, the crazy perfumer serves a large scoop of vanilla ice cream, a logical consequence for all connoisseurs who appreciate this sticky-sweet creation.
However, here comes the catch: while the ice cream is quickly devoured, Sapphire sticks to the skin like syrup and can become a bit overwhelming over time, even for the biggest fan. I can't detect any special development.
Ultimately, my sample has encouraged me to make a purchase - however, it won't be Sapphire that joins my perfume cabinet, but rather a large tub of vanilla ice cream and a jar of Amarena cherries that will find their way into my fridge. At least it's something.
