The realization after more intensive empirical analyses and comparisons of various fragrance and dupe manufacturers leads me to the following conclusion

The rather uncreative, yet beautiful character of L’Immensite makes it an absolute favorite for me. Its qualities make it particularly suitable for everyday wear and summer. Moreover, it possesses a universal DNA that resonates excellently with the masses - a real no-brainer.

Unfortunately, its everyday suitability is significantly limited by the high price. Therefore, I set out to find an affordable alternative that is equal to it in quality and character. This search was long and frustrating, as only a few brands had this fragrance on their radar. Even the well-known alternative with the moose could not convince me.

However, my search had a happy ending when I discovered Sealight by Mad Parfumeur, who also brought an excellent Side Effect and Layton alternative to the market. After a maximum of 10 minutes, it develops a barely distinguishable similarity to L’Immensite - up to 95% identical, paired with better longevity. For all those who are primarily looking for the characteristic DNA, this fragrance makes L’Immensite almost unnecessary.

Summer, Sun, Sunshine!

The summer all-rounder can be worn for any occasion and at any time of day during the warm months. The cohesive and harmonious DNA makes Sealight by MAD a true all-rounder.
Freshness, citrus, elegance, sportiness, comfort, sex appeal, and compliments are all combined.
In the opening, it is fresh, very citrusy, and the pepper-ginger combination adds a certain sharpness, so the citrus doesn't completely overwhelm and gives off WC vibes.
Later, floral notes join in, making Sealight softer and rounder. Constantly accompanied by a woody base, it results in a rather masculine composition. The indicated leather also subtly resonates, which, contrary to my expectations, harmonizes well with the other notes.
Sillage and longevity are absolutely above average for the price and a summer fragrance! It lasts a good 8-10 hours on the skin and projects quite strongly - a compliment magnet!
Price/Quality is simply top-notch - Sealight is in no way inferior to L'Immensité; on the contrary, the performance is even better than the "original." Therefore, for this price, it's an absolute no-brainer!!

The current best alternative to L'Immensité

If I had too much money, the L'Immensité would have long been in my collection. From the first test, I was immediately head over heels. However, my rational brain (thankfully) protested strongly. After testing 3 alternatives that were touted on other platforms as "super duper best 1:1 alternatives," I'll briefly explain what makes the Sealight the winner for me.

In terms of scent, we are already damn close to the original here. Especially in the drydown, I had to hold myself back to even make a "better/worse" statement in the blind test.
Both expertly capture that "actually nothing special yet very special" character that defines the "L'Immensité | Louis Vuitton." Aquatic, slightly citrusy, spicy, elegant, and absolutely crowd-pleasing without getting lost in the crowd.

Of course, there are differences:
We don't have the "Louis effect" in the opening here one hundred percent. The original simply dissolves in an incredibly fine and valuable way. The Sealight also has a very nice opening, which comes off a bit more citrusy, but I wouldn't think with its opening, "uff, am I going to drop 300 € on the table right away?".

The differences in the drydown are marginal, yet easy to describe:
The Sealight is slightly more aquatic than its predecessor. The ginger note is subtler, and the fruity, Le Gemme - Tygar-esque component is not as prominent as in the original. For me, however, this is definitely not enough of a difference to want to label the Sealight as a twist.

(Here we are already in a completely different league than with other clones - some of them blast such a poorly pronounced ginger note at you that you actually lose interest).

The longevity and sillage are very, very good. I am probably one of the few candidates for whom the L'Immensité lasts longer than 7 hours; however, the sillage of the Sealight noticeably fades even later. If I had to assign points, this would indeed go to MAD.

In terms of price (as always with MAD): In Turkey ~ 25 €, in the EU well around 50-65 €. If you can get it at the TR price, buy it blind if you like the L'Immensité DNA. With the EU price, of course, you should test it before you throw a fifty down the drain - here I don't find the price particularly outstanding, but definitely fair due to the lack of better alternatives.

In a world where money doesn't matter, I would choose the L'Immensité every day. However, money usually does matter. Here, the price/performance ratio of the Sealight is significantly (!) better.
At least I am so happy with the Sealight that the idea of buying the original is now on hold.

L'Immensité for a Budget

A truly successful L'Immensité duplication from Turkey for less than €25 for 100 ml.
You definitely can't go wrong with the Sealight. Even though it has really poor longevity and a sillage that could be improved, it's worth it every time. It also holds up relatively well on clothes.

The citrus kick at the opening really lifts your spirits, and the fragrance composition is, like its LV counterpart, very elegant and likable. Not a single person has said they didn't like the scent. On the other hand, I've received plenty of compliments. I've worn it 10 times so far, and 4 times I've been rewarded with a compliment.

It should be mentioned that this fragrance has a spray nozzle, which, combined with the price and the scent DNA, is just sat·is·fy·ing :)

Sea Breeze in a Bottle

Even though summer this year in Germany leaves much to be desired, I was on the lookout for a fragrance that can be comfortably worn even when temperatures exceed 30 degrees, without suffocating myself and those around me.
After wearing it multiple times on vacation, I can finally evaluate the scent in detail.

First of all: I have not tested the original, L'Immensité by LV.

Nevertheless, I can confidently say: This is it. This is my fragrance for over 30 degrees.

In the opening, it is very citrusy, fresh, and aquatic on my skin, but also slightly spicy. A look at the fragrance pyramid suggests that the Szechuan pepper comes through quite prominently for me. However, not in a gloomy, autumnal way, but refreshingly spicy, if that makes sense. In a way similar to how Allure Homme Sport also brings a certain spiciness with its pepper content in the heart note.

In the drydown, it remains pleasantly fresh for me, and the spiciness fades a bit.
I don't pick up much of the warm scent notes on my skin, which makes it even better for such high temperatures. Comparable for me to a sea breeze.

Everyone I have shown the fragrance to so far has liked it.

H/S I find good, especially for a summer fragrance, but nothing extraordinary.

For around 55€/100ml, you really can't go wrong; P/L is more than good!

For me, it is my absolute go-to fragrance for the high summer :)
