Stronger With You DNA - great winter scent.
I have been wearing Your Touch Amber intensively in the last few days, and it feels to me like a warm hug. The scent clearly sits in the amber-gourmand corner with that typical Stronger-With-You DNA: spicy at the start, creamy-vanilla in the heart, soft and close to musk in the drydown. For me, this is one of those fragrances that make winter cozy while still being light enough to carry into the cool spring days.
In the opening, I immediately sense the spices, probably cinnamon or cardamom, maybe a bit of pepper. The balsamic notes capture that right away; nothing scratches, nothing stings. Instead, the start feels warm, round, and inviting, as if the scent is saying to me: “Relax, I’m cozy.”
In the heart, it becomes really beautiful for me: amber and vanilla lay like a golden film over the skin. The woods provide structure so that the sweetness doesn’t become sticky. I perceive a gentle, almost fabric-like softness that reminds me of a freshly washed sweater - clean, warm, cuddly.
In the drydown, the vanilla warmth remains, but it becomes quieter. Resins like benzoin or tolu balsam feel honey-warm and slightly caramel-like to me, while musk smooths the edges. On my skin, the finish is close and velvety; on clothing, the resinous vanilla remains present longer and a bit more radiant.
Why I like it: It is pleasant, soft, and easy to wear. It has enough depth for cold days without feeling heavy. That’s exactly why it works for me in spring as well, especially in the mornings or on cloudy days. I find it radiates warmth without being sticky, and it retains that modern, sweet-spicy signature reminiscent of Stronger With You.
What I think is behind it: The softness comes from vanilla, musk, and balsamic resins; the warm radiance from amber and woods. I suspect cashmeran or iso-e-like facets that contribute to this “textile feel,” and musk molecules that round off the scent, keeping it clean and cuddly.
My conclusion: Your Touch Amber is for me a “comfort scent” with character - spicy at the opening, creamy in the heart, musky-soft in the drydown. A great winter companion that easily transitions into spring. The current street price is 15 euros, which is really ridiculously low for this fragrance.
