Romance Reverie Ministry of Oud 2025

Romance Reverie ist ein warmer, leicht süßlicher Oud Duft mit einer sehr sanften, cremigen Ausstrahlung. Das Oud wirkt sauber und gut eingebunden, nicht animalisch oder stechend, sondern angenehm weich und harmonisch. Insgesamt ist der Duft ruhig, elegant und unaufdringlich. Die Haltbarkeit ist sehr gut, die Sillage eher moderat, was ihn sehr tragbar macht. Besonders schön empfinde ich ihn im Herbst und Winter, aber auch abends in ruhigen Momenten passt er hervorragend. Ein Duft für alle die Oud mögen, aber etwas Sanftes und Ausgleichendes suchen.

Synthetic violet jumps out at me, not demure and modest. I scratch my arms and legs on blackberry bushes, sour apple and lychee, licorice is also in there, quickly add some currant juice... scratchy, sweet, and synthetic... no, we don't have a match here. The name sounds so mysterious, the pink bottle so full of pitfalls. If you're into scratchy, synthetic berry dates that end with a violet... ring the bell and go for it.

I tested it right away and I am greeted by fruits. Apple, blackberries, and red fruits are clearly perceptible to me. It then leans towards the scent of red fruit tea. Unfortunately, I don't smell any floral notes or licorice (what a pity!). In the drydown, it becomes subtler, a bit woody, a bit vanilla and amber.

The sillage diminishes after a short time and also becomes more subtle and close to the skin.

Romance Reverie is a fruity sweet fragrance. For me, it is only wearable in high temperatures.
