I admit it, I too have fallen for the Alien hype. Initially heavily boycotted, as it was simply everywhere to see and perceive. No, I definitely won’t join in. You all smell nice and alike, which ultimately makes it easier for me to stand out from the crowd. Yet, it never left me completely cold. The crazy campaign, this quirky bottle, which somehow seems as if a being from a distant star could really live inside it. It also looks a bit like those escape pods from a mothership in a science fiction movie.
Honestly, I love the original Alien. I will follow you willingly with a twisted head, throw myself sighing into every subtle wake you leave behind, and I don’t feel ashamed of it. But you won’t get me, never. You have too many lovers, and too often they are blood young. I’d rather remain a frosty ice princess than one among many.
They naively let themselves be seduced by you, hoping to catch a glimpse of your extraterrestrial charisma and shine by standing on your dizzyingly high pedestal. Unfortunately, they don’t know that it should only remain your hot breath on their skin. Blindly, they throw themselves into your arms, all too happy to be intoxicated by your sweet, syrupy poison, preferably in large quantities. They don’t realize that the thirst for life is also the fuel for the car named longing for death. That you must enjoy you cautiously and attentively, knowing your unyielding will, your domineering streak, and your unheard-of dominance. At the same time a charmer, a hard-hitting womanizer, incredibly subtle and flattering. You must be mastered and used, or else you are lost.
The first contact was made by dear Tivellon. Thank you once again. With Le gout du Parfum, it was all over for me. Bring on the flankers, as they are all limited and some are already out of production. These Aliens are extremely welcome to me due to their "rarity." You may abduct me and serve as my effective accomplices.
This creation has been accompanying me since December and I like it more and more. The strong Alien DNA cannot be denied here either. It quickly etches itself into the brain folds and leaves a lasting impression. Whether positive or negative depends on the counterpart, the situation, and above all the dosage. Some will probably be able to lament great suffering, myself included.
The opening is as usual heavy, sweet, oriental, powdery, opulent, akin to opiates. A hint of what is to come. In a sympathetic way, also a bit trashy and dirty. The lips a tad too red, the skirt almost too short, overall the scent skims the line between sexy and trashy. Yet it skillfully manages to curve through the soft, aromatic, slightly fruity rum note. Somehow it gives the scent something sublime, festive, and unique. This Alien does not come off as light or fluffy. Extremely prominent, dark, mysterious, shimmering, and unfathomable. A crisp almond note like I have never perceived before, along with the melting, lazily flowing, and golden rum, embedded in velvety, smooth amber. That of the slippery and disreputable kind. I can only say, top-notch Mugler style.
A very interesting gourmand. Engaging and exciting, while also very glamorous, feminine, and narcotic.
In the end, the woody, oriental accents gain more and more dominance. The almonds seem to have been caramelized, of course with a generous splash of rum. I also perceive it as slightly spicy and resinous; it seems to be a little shapeshifter, this species.
Mugler typical, of course, has a fantastic sillage. On powerful wings, the scent propels me forward, enveloping me in its mystical aura and doesn’t leave my side for hours. It never annoys me, but instead brings me good mood, a pleasant tingling, and sits like a little devil on my shoulder. I prefer to take it with me when going out, for big occasions, or simply to enjoy in my free time. It probably feels most comfortable in cold temperatures, the gold shining Alien. Cold spring days are still quite bearable.
As for the age group, everything has probably already been said, but I want to add my two cents. Mid-twenties, depending on emotional maturity, a bit younger, but please no teenagers.
Folks, this stuff is amazing, a first-class aphrodisiac, and that with homeopathic dosing. Spray minimally, don’t drench yourself. Once I unfortunately got a bit too much and had to spend the evening with a splitting headache. What ignorant person once claimed that too much is never enough?
Less is often more. Be stingy with your charms and create only a very small, magnetic field with this Alien around you. That can already be fatal enough. ;-)
