Naive Nose of Gatsby 2024 Eau de Parfum

So figgy and floral, reminds me of inhaling the summer strong scent in a bunch of flowers. The sandalwood and tobacco give it a kind of inner sophistication in contrast with the more baby-ish milky scent. The general vibe is someone on the verge of losing their innocence for better or for worse. While I might not buy this for myself I encourage anyone to sample as many fragrances as you can from this line.

I can't deny that at first spray, Naive instantly reminded me of my beloved Le Labo The Noir; the black tea, fig and tobacco are unmistakably there. But where The Noir to me feels warm, calm, creamy and cosy (my go-to for autumn and winter), Naive goes in a different, much greener direction.
With time, it becomes fresher, leafier and more alive. It smells like figs still hanging on the tree, wrapped in green sap-filled leaves, warmed by soft tea and sunshine.

There’s also a subtle earthy touch that makes me think of gardening and dry grass. Not muddy, but natural, uplifting and grounding.

This is a scent for spring into early summer for me. A lovely, refreshing take on fig and tea that feels natural, light and alive.
