A fresh floral clean fragrance
I love sweet gourmand fragrances, but every now and then I also like a fragrance that smells soft, well-groomed and pure. i only knew "Eternal Musk" from the bottle and the fragrance notes and was curious to see how the combination of lily of the valley and musk would smell
Eternal Musk starts directly with intense lily of the valley: fresh, slightly green, bright, sweet and delicately floral. At the same time, I notice musk, which gives the fragrance a powdery softness right from the start.
The lily of the valley is joined by tolu balsam, which adds a sweet, slightly balsamic and resinous note. The combination is rounded off with warm, soft vanilla.
"Eternal Musk" is a very linear fragrance that does not change from the opening to the drydown.
The lily of the valley is very perceptible to me and is the note that dominates the fragrance, followed by musk and tolu balsam.
The combination reminds me of freshly washed laundry that has been dried in the sun and then ironed.
It smells very clean, but not in the typical "clean style" but with a special lovely sweetness that the lily of the valley brings with it.
The longevity surprised me. At first, I could only detect the fragrance on the test strip for about an hour. When I later tested it on my skin, it lasted very well for over 8 hours.
Nevertheless, it is a very gentle fragrance that I would have liked to have a stronger radiance.
I also think the P/L is very good, because with a bit of luck it can be had for little money from time to time.
Even though it is declared as a unisex fragrance, I find it rather feminine.
To summarize, I really liked Eternal Musk. For me, it is a fragrance that I would also describe as a cuddly fragrance, if you want to make yourself comfortable at home and wear a fragrance that is not too much and with which you simply feel comfortable.
