Sweet Hibiscus Tea
I am a fan of Paris Corner fragrances. Most of the ones I have tested so far have pleased me, and some have even found a place in my collection.
Ibisco Nirvana is a fragrance that I hadn't considered until now.
It is supposed to be an alternative to "Hibiscus Mahajád | Maison Crivelli," which I haven't tested yet, so I can't make any comparisons.
"Ibisco" starts with the typical scent of hibiscus, although hibiscus flowers themselves do not emit a pronounced smell; rather, the hibiscus note comes into its own in hibiscus tea.
Anyone who has ever drunk hibiscus tea knows the unmistakable scent of hibiscus: softly floral, fruity-sweet, but also with a slightly tart, bitter note.
Alongside hibiscus, lime and mint join in, with the mint clearly taking the forefront. It gives the fragrance a slightly fresh touch.
Shortly after, vanilla emerges, which is sweet and warm and pairs very well with the floral hibiscus note.
In the drydown, the mint recedes, and rose comes to the forefront. However, for me, the rose plays only a minor role because it is very delicate and reserved.
Leather joins the rose. The leather note is clearly perceptible, but it is neither heavy nor overly present.
I do not perceive cinnamon and geranium at any point.
Hibiscus and vanilla play the main role for me throughout the entire fragrance journey.
The longevity is very good. It lasts easily over 8 hours, and I can still smell it on clothing the next day.
Ibisco Nirvana is a unisex fragrance with a tendency towards the feminine.
It can be worn in any season, although I find it suits spring and summer on not-so-hot days.
"Ibisco" is a lovely sweet-floral fragrance that I enjoyed. However, since I am not a big fan of hibiscus, I will not be acquiring a bottle.
But for those who love the scent of hibiscus, Ibisco Nirvana will surely please.
