Violet Knastille
Sandalwood scents have to be of the highest naturalness and quality with me, but even then can often be hit or miss - RP's "Santal Rouge" unfortunately absolutely the latter and seems anything but high quality or thoughtful!
A really gaudy and unpleasant combo of prickly violets and creamy synthetic sandalwood yanks this RP scent way into "please avoid!" territory for me. No "Boris Becker," but it does go gen of that bitter pill. I'm not really a fan of violet pastilles now anyway, but I think even advocates of the well-known lozenges won't have much fun with this chemical drip. The drydown, pure and transparent sandalwoody, is quite nice. Everything before that treads rather in the fat (saucer). Unharmonious, unpleasant, inharmonious. Just vibrating on the wrong lengths. An unscent.
Flacon: nischig
Sillage: not strong, not weak
Longevity: 7 hours, very close to quality work. At least in terms of its Stamina.
Conclusion: here you get tiefflilane violets thanks to a harsh sandalwood baseball bat - olfactory body injury, mostly in the nose area
