Mild patchouli scents seem to be in vogue at the moment or at least represented in many new niche perfume lines. Hardly reminiscent of hippie fragrances anymore, rather very creamy and delicious.

“Vie de Reve” by RP seems to be one such representative of this clean, olfactory “neo-hippie movement” and combines it with the trendy “sugar rose” from the female mainstream sector. Unfortunately. A bit of shampoo, a bit of deodorant, a bit of perfume. A bit annoying, a bit delicious. Thanks to the truly high-quality and pleasant patchouli as a backbone, it’s slightly more than just standard fare. Not high class or really conveying a niche feeling, but not bad either. For me, however, this is no reason to fall for RP or to greedily test the entire line. So far, there has been clearly too much casual interchangeability for my taste.

Bottle: RP as usual
Sillage: earthy-sweet and not very far
Longevity: also about 7 hours here

Conclusion: the path of delicate patchouli. Pleasant. Comfortable. Can go.

I keep finding that fruity florals become bland when synthetic fruit dominates floral notes: still not badly done.

Once again a floral-fruity, this time with a clear peony note. Unfortunately, it becomes annoyingly sweet and boring over time.

A beautiful contrast between fresh, tangy fruit and patchouli; in between, cocoa and a kind of rose.

If you can't afford "Attrape-Rêves | Louis Vuitton," you'll find a really successful alternative here. High-quality dupe!

Has a certain similarity to Coco Mademoiselle, but is overall a bit fresher and citrusy. I would prefer this over CM.
