Caramel Skeleton
There's nothing to see here. No Oud in sight. Please move along… I hate onlookers!
"So Oud" can certainly be seen as a cheeky title, as this fragrance from RP clearly gives off more of a synthetic, shower-gel gourmand vibe than an array of agarwood! "So Oud" is a calorie pile at drugstore level. Price-wise it's okay, often close to delicious, but quality-wise it's unfortunately more like a fairground and amateur league than niche and national team. A caramel master right in between the genders. Vanilla on the dry down, still no Oud in sight. Label deception. But it's not an unpleasant smell. Red fruits, balsamic, delicate. Could also be a Montblanc or something. No niche associations left outside the bottle now between RP and me. But "So Oud" can still whet the appetite for more. It just never delivers, doesn't even try.
