I say yes to the blind purchase
Today, my way home took me past the local discount store as it does every day. On my shopping list in my handbag were essential items like coffee and toilet paper. As a typical marketing victim, my gaze fell on a tiny, neon orange label at hip height on my way to the paper-filled cardboard roll wrapped in plastic.
Aha, there's perfume here... Oh, this is La Rive? easy? I've never read, smelled, or heard of this one before? Unfortunately, there’s no tester - but 3.45?? A lonely bottle on the shelf, the little scent devil on my shoulder whispers enticingly, “oh come on, it doesn’t matter - and look how CHEAP!”
At home, while unpacking, I become almost euphoric with curiosity and immediately spray it on my wrist. Yes! Another DUPE has moved in with me, luckily the big brother from Armani is nearing its end.
I do not regret the purchase; I can't say anything about the longevity yet, but after 2 hours it develops into a pleasantly creamy and vanilla scent, without the flowers (rose?) being pushed into the background. The bottle looks simple, yet not cheaper than other colleagues from the Polish fragrance workshop. In my opinion, they haven't produced a red-hot iron, but a solid, nice everyday scent that doesn’t overwhelm anyone also speaks of craftsmanship.
