Green fig
I understand the comparison with Thé Noir vs Le Labo. But this perfume is a lot creamier because of the fig and the tobacco and rose are missing. They are distant cousins.
I was afraid of the spinach note because I don't like heavy earthy notes. The spinach is clearly noticeable, but not in an earthy way. It smells fresh and fresh and makes the perfume greener. Very nice!
It really is a beautiful perfume and my favorite fig scent.

New favourite
I’d had my nose on Philosykos for a couple of years but was disappointed in its longevity and sillage. I researched other fig perfumes and ordered a few testers. Among these was Cèdre Figalia. This is now my favourite perfume. It’s both juicy and fresh and evokes warmth. It’s not old-fashioned nor is it too girly. It’s somehow perfectly grown-up.

This perfume reminds me of the mid 2000s and early 2010s, even though it only came out last year. A touch nostalgic, yet not vintage.

An Ode to THE Fig Tree
The Cèdre Figalia comes very close to the Parisian Musc Eau de Parfum for me, but is a bit greener and more distant. The Parisian Musc Eau de Parfum becomes a bit sweeter in the drydown and lasts a little longer, while the Cèdre Figalia remains fresh and green, even in the drydown, and retains its fig note. By "distant," I mean that the scent smells like a fig from the outside, almost a vivid representation of a fig tree. I don't smell the flesh of the fig like in "Philosykos (Eau de Toilette) | Diptyque," but also the skin and the tree on which it grows. Currently, my favorite fig scent.
I hardly notice the basil, spinach, and mate; they combine perfectly with the fig leaf, giving the fragrance an additional aromatic earthy freshness, alongside the woods in the drydown. By the way, I also hardly notice the pepper in the top note, but it probably helps to highlight the fig once again.
So, for those of you who like fig scents, you should definitely try this fragrance. It will surely find its way into my collection soon.

Fig-Basil-Smoothie
Take a handful of fig leaves, 5 green figs, a few fresh sprouted branches from the fig tree, some sprigs of basil, two spinach leaves, and blend everything finely. Add a teaspoon of mate tea, a few strong turns from the pepper mill, and grate some dry cedar wood on top. Then, pass a small bergamot by, blend briefly again, and the Cedre Figalia-Smoothie is ready (please don't try this at home ;-) ).
No, seriously. The scent is green, I don't think it gets any greener than this. It starts for me with fig leaf green, and at the same time, I perceive something minty, which I think is the basil combined with the pepper. It's pretty and fits well together. It remains green, briefly gaining a slightly sweet-creamy quality from the milk of the figs, but is caught again by the mate and twists into a more bitter, still green direction. Even the emergence of the woods further emphasizes the green. The spinach seems more like an alibi because it's so healthy. I can't really smell it. Similarly, I notice no citrus. A lovely scent, for me more suited to a man, but definitely unisex. I'm not so sure if the P/L is really justified, as the S/H is not that outstanding. The bottles from Atelier Materi are handcrafted, as I've read. I quite like them. Will I treat myself to a specimen? Maybe, because I collect bottles. But then Cacao Porcelana - completely contrary to Cèdre Figalia. By the way, I came to this current fragrance experience because I recently indulged my curiosity with a set of six samples from Atelier Materi. And I must say, this one has convinced me in parts.

Not what I expected,
because from the reviews, I thought the perfume would be a hit, but I was disappointed or my expectations have become too high. That could also be the case.
After searching for "the" fig scent, I sought out a sample here. Thanks "Haarbuerste"
What exactly disappointed me here? When you look at the fragrance pyramid, you think the fig is pronounced here, but unfortunately, that's not quite the case.
The opening of this scent is very light and subtle. The fragrance doesn't overwhelm anyone. Not even a mosquito would be overwhelmed; the scent is so finely balanced. This is not meant negatively, but I see it positively. It's a daily scent that leans towards a paper fragrance.
In the opening, my surroundings perceived coconut. WTF? What coconut? It's a fig scent, and there's no trace of coconut, but two people confirmed that to me. My nose didn't perceive it that way. I sense green fig tree and basil and mate. Very well balanced. Top.
In the drydown, sandalwood comes in and becomes linear. No big surprises anymore.
What am I missing? First of all, the sillage is lacking. It's a 6/10 on my skin. Nothing more.
I miss a slight sweetness in the scent that would emphasize the fig a bit more, and for the price, you can find several better perfumes on the market that also have a strong sillage. However, this scent is not designed to perform but to be a light companion that can be worn by both genders.

Balanced basil-fig blend with a woody base. Elegant and natural, among the finest fig scents—though performance is moderate.

Nice, natural smelling fig bush (without fruit). Similar to Philosykos (EDP, haven't tried EDT) but I like this one better.

Leafy green at first, with a faint bitterness from the spinach. Then slowly mellows out into the creamiest fig fruit.

Starts off so beautifully green and fresh. But quickly turns a bit dull and bitter. I also find the scent slightly smoky.

The first fig scent I actually like. No sandalwood and no cucumber - Hallelujah! Refreshing, green, creamy. I'm so happy.

Herb, green, fresh, woody (fig tree).
Plus a subtle fruity sweetness (fig fruit).
Finally, a gently spicy woody cream.
Beautiful!
