I came across this fragrance through a recommendation ... what can I say about it? The scent itself has a pleasant sweetness. However, it is not too sweet. In the background, it is accompanied by a delicious spiciness which, in my opinion, keeps it from becoming boring. I often wear the fragrance in my daily life or at work, and what can I say? It is well received. It doesn't knock anyone off their feet; rather, it is perceived as very pleasant. That is also my feeling. So for the price, you can gladly add it to your collection.

The name of the fragrance does not promise too much and lives up to its name. Here, you are not dealing with a simple coffee to go, but rather with a coffee that you want to enjoy at home by the fireplace in the cold season, perhaps with a good book. This delicious cup of coffee has been refined with a delightful caramel note. It’s like a coffee that you brew, and then the whole apartment smells of it.

It is a scent that does not disturb its surroundings. I would even say it encourages you to drink coffee; it is therefore well noticeable and easily lasts its 8 hours... that is of course my subjective feeling. It comes across to me as very soft and full, and not synthetic at all. So, an absolute recommendation, and I’m going to make myself a coffee now.

Wow, I thought when I received samples from a colleague and sprayed the fragrance. At first, I was simply thrilled by the overall creation. Just beautiful. The scent has the perfect mix of sweetness, leatheriness, and warmth. For me, it’s a rounded masculine and sweet fragrance, ideal for the coming days…
Well, I was actually in saving mode, but honestly… you can't resist this scent. So, I ordered the bottle and have not regretted it. The bottle is also very appealing!

However, after wearing it for the fourth time, that feeling of… You remind me of… came back… I didn’t have to think long about what it reminded me of. For me, there is a similarity to Anniversary by Farmacia. I think this has to do with the fact that similar notes are present…

These include cinnamon, leather, vanilla, and cedarwood. Don’t get me wrong. Both fragrances stand on their own and are distinct, and the similarity for me only exists in the first hour. After that, the similarity is at least history, and both fragrances develop in different directions. Of course, the saffron and rum in Anniversary also create a good difference.

Tomy Iommy then becomes pleasantly sweet, and the leathery note takes a back seat. What can I say about the longevity? It’s very good! After 15 hours, I can still smell it up close. Well, and for those who want to hear about compliments… wear the fragrance for yourselves… compliments should be a secondary matter.

This is probably one of the new releases that has made me the most curious. Just the bottle is a feast for the eyes. But what really matters is the scent, and that caught me right away...

For me, the scent doesn't come across as very gourmand. At first, I notice a distinct and delicious mint note. After the first half hour, as it fades away, I also pick up on the sweet notes. In my opinion, these are held back in a very good balance, resulting in a perfect blend for me. I even detect a certain milk coffee note, but only when sniffing very closely. Maybe I'm just imagining that. For me, this is also a scent that can definitely be worn in summer at moderate temperatures. Somehow, it reminds me a bit of Halloween Man X. However, with mint and a more subtle coffee note. I can only give an absolute recommendation here.

By the Fireplace has pleased me from the very beginning. I can only confirm that. I really feel like I’m sitting by a campfire… but not one that smells of biting smoke, rather one where chestnuts are beautifully roasting. The smokiness lingers for a long time. I would say about 1 to 2 hours, and even afterwards it subtly accompanies the scent. As time goes on, the delicious vanilla becomes more prominent. A vanilla that is not too overpowering, but clearly noticeable. I can also perceive the chestnut, though it is more subtle than the vanilla and the smokiness. This scent evokes images of sitting in autumn, winter, or early spring on a clearing in the woods with good friends or your loved one at night, gazing up at the stars. The campfire crackles away and releases its wonderful aroma. Perhaps you’re sipping a whisky or downing a few beers. But the trash is dutifully taken away. Around you, you can hear the rustling of animals as they move through the underbrush to attend to their needs…

The longevity is satisfactory. It radiates for 8 hours. The projection is not room-filling, but well noticeable… you can definitely perceive it close to the body for up to 10 or even 12 hours…

A great scent that I can recommend.
