This fragrance hits like a “brick” house
Right off the bat the most unique of the bunch. Out of all the “new” bottles this one is the most challenging. Definitely for the true collector. The moment you spray this it grabs you and doesn’t let go, I get a HUGE does of black pepper in the opening, and it stays throughout the entire composition. There’s a faint sweetness here, like a dark cherry or plum. Neither of which are listed as a note, but trust me it’s there. After about five minutes it dries down to a wet, almost pungent tobacco accord. My dad use to chew tobacco and spit in a cup, this smells like the inside of that cup. The “hay” starts to peek around the corner after about 10 mins, rearing its ugly head. (I do not like hay accords). If you have the patience, about an hour in the jasmine comes in to play in all its indolic glory. Yes this is the animalic, scratchy jasmine. He’s not dressed to impress, he’s been outside messing with hay bails in the hot sun. There’s something here that reminds me of "Al-Khatt | XerJoff" . Definitely no where near as animalic , but like distant cousins. If you can survive the first 10 mins of this fragrance you will be treated to one of the sexiest, muskiest masculine scents I’ve smelled in a awhile. Give it time and it will reward you.

The GOAT! I mean olifant
Out of all my collection , (atleast 100 bottles) Afrika-Olifant is the only one I’ve completely emptied. I’m now on bottle number two. I’m a lover of animalics like
Leather Oud,
Hyrax etc. This is right in the same league. This fragrance is the perfect blend of resins, and musks. Starting so smooth and then drying down to a more textured musk. There’s so much to love here, sometimes I smell Cacoa, sometimes there’s a slightly smoky caramel accord, and sometimes it’s not sweet at all. It’s just skanky and fecal , almost motor oil consistency.
Beautifully seductive scent, must be worn with confidence

Dries van noten clone
This fragrance smells very similar to a highly sought after Frederic Malle “dries van noten. It’s a warm spicy almost gourmand scent. This is warm vanilla spices, sort of reminds me of Christmas.
A bottle of dries van noten is an easy $1,500. A bottle of Bentley intense is around $115. I’ll take the Bentley

Slightly sour Vanilla milkshake
Vanilla sex is buttercream icing, or a vanilla milkshake just before it begins to turn. It has three different vanilla accords sourced from three different regions. The quality here is top notch. It is a soft powdery almond accord with a slightly animalic base. On my skin it gives a noticeable suede accord, although suede isn’t a listed note. I work for Tom Ford and the moment I took delivery of the stock and created a sample it sparked an uproar. The juice garners mixed reactions, some love it, some hate it.
If you like the almond accord in lost cherry and fucking fabulous, you’ll love it here. Just prepare yourself for the slightly sour animalic reminder…

Miami Nights
Costa Azzura makes me think of Miami Vice, Miami Nights. This is a well dressed older gentleman in nearly bare chested linen. He has generational wealth, probably drives an old school Lamborghini Countach. He owns a mansion in billionaires row and only comes out at night. He dresses to impress, not in a formal way, but sexy and provocative.
The scent is chypre/ Fougere, with bitter citrus notes. This is tropical with a light Mediterranean air. The citrus notes are very deep and rich/tangy. There’s a slight aquatic saltiness somewhere in the base that gives this fragrance a “seafaring” vibe.
It is beautiful and expensive smelling. A frag for the distinguished gentleman.
