More PS and therefore better ?
First of all thanks to Strehliwood for sharing the fragrance.
By the way, even in an exquisite fragrance shop in Hamburg the 50% version was not available.
It's probably because you have to ask Ms Linda Jayne in London explicitly.

I won't beat about the bush. But I will anyway
Weeks ago I had a sample kit sent to me by Ormonde from England.
Among them Ormonde Man, probably the 40% version.
Sprayed on and well, not bad.
At Parfumo and was surprised by the quite positive reviews of the Ormonde Man 50% perfume share (9.2 - as of today/see above).

Well, I had to try that one
Looked at parfumo.de and actually there is a sharing. Said, done, sharing,
Sharing preserved and sprayed on.
Yes, it is similar to the 40% version, but not the same, although supposedly there is only a different concentration.
In the top note, the 40%-e is not only lighter but also appears fresher than the 50% version.
With the latter, the coriander and also the fir from the heart note can probably be smelled early on.
And that doesn't fit my nose at all.
It was written by balsamic, balm for the soul. Either I have an association of balsamic or it was related to the heart note, but the fragrance is definitely not balsamic, not yet.
Green yes, pink pepper, yes, coriander, yes, wood, yes, oud no, may come.
But we're still in the headnote.

The heart note:
So after 1-2 hours the fragrance starts to become a little balsamic. That's nice. But I don't smell oud. The smell is softer now. The disturbing peaks of the coriander/fir have disappeared.
Yes, now the smell is pleasant, round and good.

The base note is also very pleasant. Beautifully combined notes let the fragrance slowly fade away after 8-9 hours. It lasts a few hours longer than the 40% version, in which the heart and base notes are the same, but in a weakened form.
Musk, yes, cedar, yes, vetiver, yes, weak, it seems that vetiver could be responsible for the green in the top note. Sandalwood, yes.

Conclusion of my scent impression:
For me the top note is too green, too disturbing in the nose. I cannot, or not yet, understand the high rating.
Sillage is hardly available. In any case, a spray impact only produces a skin-near scent.
Other fragrances are more exciting, more gripping, rounder, better in performance and in the overall scent impression for me.
Would I want to buy the scent? No.
Good evening

For Him Absolutely Only Better?
I have once again tested a fragrance and write a little about my impressions.

3 spray shots in the left elbow bend.

In the beginning was the word and the word was spices = the top note - the first 30 minutes -
Coriander and Ambrette seed Absolue are very intrusive but with me only up close.
There is nothing tingling for me and I do not smell incense the same.
Spices are trumps in the top note and the spices used are not the "nicesten".

But what comes next is the best part of the fragrance - the heart note and the base note.

But first to the heart note:

Iris Absolue, cashmere wood, tonka bean is really well balanced;
soft, warm and a touch of avant-garde, and it smells and smells a little bit more high-class than Bentley For Men Absolute, and incense is a fine addition. Very noble.
Yes, the ingredients in the heart note are totally different for the two perfumes mentioned, but they smell very similar for my nose.

The base note:
Bourbon-vetiver, Orcanox (other name/company name of Ambroxan), Labdanum, Musk, Patchouli
Also very noble and long lasting.

Durability: +12 hours on my skin, even after showering the scent is still very easy to perceive.

Conclusion: For those who don't like spices, or better not Koreander and Ambrette seeds: Don't be put off by the top note.
The heart and base notes are much better than the opening.
With this scent I would have expected more steam (Projection / Sillage). Even if the spices in the top note are not my cup of tea, the fragrance is a well done scent overall.
I prefer Bentley Majestic Cashmere over Bentley For Men Absolute.

Be sure to test before the blind buy, then it is no longer a blind buy.
It's not for everyone.

16 candles in a black city under grey clouds - WTF?
I was once again very bored and it was once again bright grey above our black city.
Boredom...
So I thought about trying the Pegasus I had bought weeks ago, but didn't dare to open it.
When I sprayed it on, a picture suddenly shot into my head, an album cover, which I immediately associated with this fragrance (heavy word). Or better the music that is to be heard on the album. More on this later.
The fragrance is peculiar, unique, independent, special, idiosyncratic, a little lipstick (new word), metallic, a little habituation.
The beginning:
I do not smell cumin, bergamot very well and heliotrope, which dampens the bergamot note a little.
On my skin the scent is metallic, slightly sweet, discreet, but still with a perceptible sillage. Qualitatively, it has a very high quality effect

The middle: I can still understand the metallic that is reported about in the middle and is probably also the component that let this, again heavy word, association with the album cover arise.
The lipstick is still somewhat present. The Sillage is no longer as present as in the beginning. Woods easily come to the surface.

The End: Creamy 12+ hours the fragrance lasts on my skin and even longer on clothes, and so it is on the level of Amouage Reflexion Men, which for me has absolutely no resemblance to Pegasus or Interlude Man, my former Signature fragrance
The scent is now milder, closer to the skin than before, and very pleasant

Well, I'm not bored anymore.
Good slide and healthy noses and olfactory apparatuses, or better olfactory bulbs.
Fun Fact: Yes, not only engines have pistons, we humans do too

Resolution: the album is Some Great Reward by Depeche Mode. I immediately associated the metallic sounds and atmosphere of the album with this scent.

Sunshine a la Playa
The perfume is a heavyweight with namely 728 g (packaging + bottle + 100% content + foil + seal).
This is the 100 ml bottle. The package is bigger and wider than the other Amouage packages I own, but shallower in depth.

The first minute: sun, sweetness that matches the sun, creaminess that matches. Orange brandy. It doesn't quite fit my nose, but it's weakened by the sweetness so it's acceptable. And we're only at the top note. Yes, lavender and orange-brandy and the sweetness, which, like Interlude Man, although differently developed, fits perfectly to the fragrance itself and gives the whole a Uniqueness.

Minute 5: Lavender weakens a bit, Orange Brandy dominates and I like it better now. Slowly the sage creeps in. I still miss bergamot. Let's see when that starts. Funny, bergamot is in many perfumes in the top note and immediately recognizable.

BTW, the packaging is slightly different from Interlude Man or Lyric Man. The bottle is completely in the packaging, so there is no base in which the bottle sits with 2/6 of the height and where you have to lift the lid to get to the bottle. Here the bottle is completely inside the packaging and is very easy to remove without running the risk of the bottle falling over.

3 hours later: Lavender and Orange Brandy have abdicated. I still don't smell bergamot.
The creamy portion is still there. Woods are perceptible, but do not dominate. I totally miss juniper berries. Let's see if it still comes.

5 hours later: Tonka bean and vanilla have now come to the fore. Nothing's bothering here anymore.

9 hours later: Still creamy with tonka bean and vanilla.

Conclusion: Initially it takes a little getting used to, but very nice unfolding fragrance with long shelf life.
Thanks Amouage for a nice summer dream.

Notting Hill the better Office for Men????
Hello everyone,

i'm trying again with a fragrance description.

The scent itself:
- Top notes present, both bergamot and lemon blossoms and a little bit of ginger
- Heart notes yes, I take maritime notes after about 5 minutes. The coumarin adds a touch of spice.
- Top note nice and soft. Patchouli, which should be earthy, smoky and woody, I do not perceive or only conditionally. More tests needed.
I don't tell you what's floral about the linalool. What's your opinion?

Sillage: Quite mau, but in my opinion therefore well suitable for the Office.

Durability: 13:15 pm sprayed on: Left back of the hand Notting Hill - right back of the hand Office for Men.
Both are still perceptible at 21:15. NH is soft and soft and Office for Men shines with its "woody" note, which I unfortunately don't like so much, but everyone feels a little different.

In any case, try before buying how it works on the skin.
I've determined when I spray NH into the room it develops a stronger woody touch. The woody comes out on my skin but not so strongly.
Tip: If you like it even more quit, layer NH with Orange Sanguine from Atelier Cologne and Maison Margiela Replica Under the Lemon Trees

Conclusion: I like the fragrance because it is fresh at first, then stays fresh and then becomes and remains mild and soft.
8 hours+ is a good value for the shelf life with a fresh fragrance.

Have fun trying it out!
