Lila Seide!
I had the opportunity to test the new fragrance Queen of Silk through a giveaway and I am happy to provide a review of the scent.
My first thought was: a purple bottle associated with silk? Such a loud color should represent something that evokes softer, smoother, and quieter associations for me? The color of the bottle fits, but the name of the perfume could rather be Queen of summer passion :D
This fragrance is not subtle, neither at the beginning nor at the end. The magnolia stands out strongly at the start, along with the passion fruit. To my nose, it is a touch too sweet. On very hot summer days, it would give me a headache. However, for spring, I find it too fruity. The creaminess I expected from the frankincense, myrrh, and musk does not really develop for me, even after 4-5 hours. The saffron becomes more prominent after a while, just like the vanilla. I think this is how the sweetness is maintained throughout.
For me, it’s not a fragrance I would purchase in the bottle, as I tend to prefer scents that are on the more subtle side and have a slightly more unisex appeal. However, I can certainly imagine it as a crowd pleaser, especially among young adult women. It’s definitely worth a try!

Wow! It blows me away!
In the perfumery, I was still wondering what the hype around this scent was, but then at home on the test strip in the dry down... my jaw drops. This pepper tickles so wonderfully in the nose. The tonka bean has been perfectly portioned so that it doesn’t smell gourmand, which is not at all my preferred fragrance direction. The mineral notes ensure perfectly that the scent doesn’t end up in a creamy uniformity. I love it!

In the Middle of a Tulip Bed
Yes, if you want to smell like a tulip, you are in the right place. Yes, if you want to smell like the awakening of spring, you are in the right place. Yes, if you want to wear femininity on your skin, you are in the right place. Yes, if you want to have a smile on your lips even on rainy days, you are in the right place. Yes, I am smitten! At first, it is slightly soapy, but that fades very quickly; afterward, the perfect, slightly powdery, minimally sweet, pure tulip remains.

I love white musk!
Creamy, creamier, Musk Therapy! This fragrance offers pure comfort. Such a wonderful, mild musk scent, with that little splash of mandarin providing a perfect balance in the nose. You feel enveloped and embraced. This fragrance is one of the few that I wouldn't assign to any specific season, absolutely wearable all year round. During the day, but also a great scent for bedtime. So suitable for everyday wear that it has great potential for a signature scent.

So this is what a synthetically produced fragrance can smell like...
I was tempted to buy this fragrance by a YouTuber. Once I tested it, I was blown away. It was the first unisex fragrance in my collection and has sparked a love that will last a long time. What stands out is the sillage of this fragrance! Wow! This scent enters the room before you do, and you can still smell it for minutes after you've already left. Such a pleasant fragrance trail follows you throughout the day. Incredible!
