Good Even Without Melon
I don't find it that fruity at all.
The pineapple is really hard to detect, but I don't perceive any melon here at all.
So what is it that accompanies this scent all the time and makes it really good?
In the fragrance pyramid, it lists Cashmeran, and I had to look up what that even is..
"Cashmeran is a fragrance ingredient from IFF. It is described as floral, woody, spicy, and musky"
Aha, so that's where the nice spiciness comes from.. I can agree with the musky part, but less so with the floral.
Basically, it's a very consistent scent without major surprises but still good.
It works best on cooler days and is actually suitable for most occasions.
The bottle reflects the scent quite well:
Nice, simple, unobtrusive, and not too special.
For that, the price-performance ratio is impressive.

The scent fits - the name does not
The fragrance notes are already listed directly on the bottle.
Bergamot, Tangerine, Pepper-Eucalyptus, Lavender-Cypress, Orange Blossom, Cedarwood, Amber, Patchouli.
Sounds pretty good already.. Right at the front is the bergamot, which gives a nice fresh, bright, and above all citrusy opening.
Unfortunately, from all the other fragrance notes described, I can't really pick out much more. At least I can't..
Cedarwood, Amber, Patchouli?
Yes, it does become a bit woody later on, which fits well, but I can't pinpoint it exactly.
The longevity is acceptable for the price.. It doesn't hurt to spray it on a bit more often.
All in all, it's a decent fragrance for the price that can be worn for pretty much any occasion.
And especially for EVERY season...
The name is quite confusing in that regard. The scent is neither particularly sweet nor strong, and due to its citrusy-fresh and bright character, I would never categorize it as a purely winter fragrance.

Close to the body.. but not gone
First of all: I can't provide a perfect description of the scent here because I can really only pick out the orange from the notes. There’s also a nice spiciness to it.
Overall, it smells simply spicy - fruity, soft with a certain creaminess and sweetness that is really well received in the surroundings.
Just like Joop Wow!, The One manages to bring in a sweetness that does not dominate, is masculine, and is almost perfectly balanced with the other notes. Actually, all the notes harmonize super well together here, and the good rating is not without reason.
But now to the unfortunate topic with The One: the longevity.
Unfortunately, perfumes generally don't last too long on me, which is why I had thought long and hard about whether a blind purchase would even be worth it if the longevity is supposed to be so miserable..
Fortunately, it’s not that bad after all. The downside is that it becomes relatively close to the body quite quickly, but it is always present.
With The One, you can actually just flip my review of JPG Ultra Male and say: just spray a bit more than usual or maybe even spray again (even on a date) :P
Speaking of occasions: such a scent is of course predestined for a date or generally more for the evening, and therefore the performance can also become an advantage ;)
For me, the scent fits not only for the colder days but for every season. Plus, the bottle is quite beautiful, and I don’t regret having this lovely scent in my collection.

Not a lie but exaggerated..
All-rounder, No-Brainer, Compliment Getter and however else it is called in various languages.
All of this is fundamentally not wrong.. fundamentally not a lie.
But in my opinion, it's exaggerated.
Speaking of opinions.
Here you can see how strongly some can differ.
While many are eagerly waiting for the base note and can't wait for the top note to fade, I actually find this top note the best.
The bergamot with the aquatic notes, where spicy notes quickly come in, is really great.
The heart note with sage and rosemary doesn't appeal to me as much, but the incense from the base is nicely soft and rounds everything off well.
Freshness with spice.. but an Aquatic?
If you were to compare it with aquatics in its approximate price range, then for me, for example, Aqva Amara performs significantly better. Nautica Voyage would be even cheaper.
Profumo is well-suited for evening occasions or for work, if you have an office job ;) and is more for mature men, not for teenagers.
The scent is good, yes... but I believe YouTube and the name Alberto Morillas have pushed it a bit too high.
For me, overrated.
My batch is from 2018 and I read that the bottle actually has a magnetic closure. Unfortunately, mine does not, but otherwise, I find the bottle simple yet successful.
Big + for being able to check the contents despite the black bottle when light shines on it.

Aquatic Mandarin Wave
The scent progression is simple.
It starts with a beautiful mandarin note that is present for a while with a pleasant acidity, until the aquatic notes gradually come to the forefront.
And they arrive like a wave, as I find the sillage strong as well as the longevity, which really surprised me positively because it is also not too overpowering.
Frankincense is not really noticeable, all in all bitter but fresh.
Currently, Creed Erolfa remains my favorite among the aquatics, but Aqva Amara comes quite close ;)
The bottle is quite nice, but I would have preferred it if it were flattened "at the bottom," so that it can be stood up.. But there are worse things.
In conclusion, I can only say that I find it very unfortunate that THIS scent is no longer produced, as there are certainly many other candidates.
So if you somehow have the chance and a preference for aquatics, then get this wonderful summer scent.
