Dollar General Gem
I have looked far and wide for this fragrance locally- for months. It eluded me until last week. I was out, going to visit my mother in law. We stopped in the closest Dollar General before we got to her house. We were picking up snacks and a drink. I perused the Easter aisle before making my way towards the checkout. My husband was looking at the impulse buy section, so I turned around and eyed the beauty section for no particular reason. I turned the corner and there it was in all its cupcake, cheap body mist glory. Cupcake Swirl in a mini 3.2 fl oz bottle. It was the only one, displayed between Pink Vanilla Kiss and Cotton Candy. I didn't hesitate. I grabbed it and practically ran to checkout- my carbonated coke be damned. It seemed like hours waiting for everything to be scanned and bagged. The machine spent 3 light-years processing the payment. Finally, the cashier handed over a receipt, and I was out the door before he could say have a great day. Oh, but what a great day it was. In my excitement, I hadn't even bothered to smell or test the spray. A little dumb? Maybe but that's life. As I reached the car and sat in the passenger seat, I searched the bag with one hand while putting on my seatbelt with the other. Once my hand enclosed around the curved, plastic bottle, I dropped the rest of the bag. My husband made it to the car as I pulled the cap off. He was indifferent and started the car as usual. Once that first spray hit my nose, I was hooked. There was no going back. I would need this forever and always. No matter what. $3.75 is a small price to pay for heaven. This is sweet. So wonderfully sweet. It is a cupcake, vanilla and buttery, topped with buttercream so rich and creamy, you almost forget that it's sugar. Of course, it is sugar- LOTS of it. There is a slight spice, but it is not spicy. The spices are purely there to give the cupcake dimension and to justify the $8 for one cupcake price tag. This is heavily sugared and incredibly rich. However, it has a light, airy quality as well. I sprayed my clothes about four times, and I could still smell it hours later. My mother in law asked if I brought a cake with me. Amazing for the price point. I would easily pay the devil if he could find me another bottle. (Or you if you'd like to get rid of one.) I'll be looking for this repeatedly until I die

Cheap and simple- but so good
This is great for being as cheap as it is. Once you get through the first few seconds of alcohol, it is sickeningly sweet and sugary cotton candy. It smells like pink, seriously. The sweeter the better for me. If you aren't a fan of candy or sweet scents, this one won't be for you. It makes a great layering fragrance or a standalone. The longevity isn't great, but it isn't awful- at least for me. It lasts a few hours, maybe up to 6 hours at most. Sillage is moderate. You can definitely leave a bit of a trail if you'd like. (I'm more of an undersprayer, so I keep it close to skin level.) Overall, great for the price point.

Sugary Marshmallow Goodness!
I really enjoy this fragrance. It is very one note but very good. It is a (mostly) realistic marshmallow scent. I wouldn't say it is a fully realistic marshmallow. It's more of a perfumey type marshmallow, if that makes sense. Slightly more sugar than marshmallow. I only have a sample, but I will absolutely be grabbing a full size. It is a must for sweet, gourmand lovers. It's easy to layer with other fragrances, but it is just fine on its own. I found longevity to be around 9 hours for me. It sits very close to the skin. I would definitely recommend trying it first as some people are anosmic to it.

Candied Apple Goodness!
I purchased this one in a drugstore years ago. I had no idea about the notes or what it was supposed to smell like. I just saw the cute circus box and "Vanille" (obviously I didn't pay much attention in my French class since it says vanilla and apple. Haha) and thought it would be up my alley. It totally was! Make no mistake, this fragrance does not pretend to be a $300 perfume, however, it performs better than a usual cheapie. Upon first spray you get delicious apple followed by praline. To me, it reads more candy apple than caramel apple. On the dry down, you get a super sweet vanilla. I am a fan of sweet gourmands and this one is so good! This does smell synthetic, but in the best way possible. A sugary, candied vanilla apple. I do not pick up on the orange note at all. This lasts decently on me, about 7-8 hours. The sillage is definitely close to the skin. I agree with the reviewer that said this is a great "to bed" scent. You can enjoy the candy apple and fall asleep to the sweet vanilla and it will be gone in the morning. You can just add your day scent without having to worry about accidental layering. Great value for the price!

Time bomb from 2009
I've had this one since high school, so it is a nostalgic fragrance for me. It is very fruity and floral. It's a time bomb from 2009. It is pretty basic and simple, but sometimes that's what you want. I mostly keep this around for nostalgia, but I do find myself using it sometimes. Longevity is decent on me, maybe 5-6 hours and sillage is not exactly close to skin but not arms length either. It's more like a light aura around you. If you're looking for something unique or different, this one probably isn't for you
