A pure summer fragrance or something more?
I ordered a 5ml bottle of 40Knots some time ago and used it up within two days because I like the scent so much. I've never smelled anything like it before.
As for the fragrance itself, it starts off very sweet due to the honey. The salty and woody notes then come relatively quickly. Overall, it is a salty, sweet fragrance. For me, the fragrance is one of the top 10 from Xerjoff.
Now we come to the most important thing - is this fragrance only wearable in summer? A very clear no! This fragrance is always wearable. Both the durability and the sillage are above average.

Initially very suspicious, as it goes in the direction of LV Imagination, according to the reviews.
I am an absolute fan of LV Imagination, which is now empty, but I don't get to refill it. That's why I was looking for an alternative and have now found one!
Through numerous TikToks I came across the Art of Arabia 1. After a long time, I found a leftover bottle that definitely convinced me.
As for the fragrance itself, I have to say that it is certainly the Imagination DNA, but the Art of Arabia 1 is definitely a fragrance in its own right.
In terms of the fragrance progression, it can be said that Art of Arabia 1 starts very strongly. Initially, you notice the mint and ginger. As it progresses, the black tea is added.
All in all, this is a perfect freshi at a very, very good price. Absolute recommendation to buy!
Shelf life/sillage are also great. It lasts for 6-8 hours. I myself still perceive the fragrance even after hours.

A really special fragrance - does the price fit?
I am now testing the fragrance as I have ordered a leftover bottle. Initially, the fragrance gives me light chewing gum vibes (which I personally find extremely well done). After about 30 minutes, the tobacco emerges and gives the whole thing a completely different direction. Paired with the tonka bean and the dry fruits, this is definitely a successful and beautiful fragrance. For me, there is currently nothing to compare this fragrance with.
I also really like the simple bottle. In terms of price, however, I see the big weakness. 550€ for 50ml is far too high in my opinion.
I can certainly understand the hype, overall this really is a masterpiece. Lasting power and sillage is also good in my opinion. Would say 8/10 for both.
