Leather breath over Agadir
It's the first time I've set foot on African soil. On a direct flight operated by the Swiss airline Edelweiss. It's our first time traveling over Easter and the stewardess offers us a small Lindt white milk chocolate Easter bunny to mark the upcoming holiday. What a treat!
The airport there is small and only a small flight of stairs separates us from Moroccan soil. It is warm. I quickly take off my sweater and let the sun warm my upper body. How lucky I am to be able to travel so often. This luxury is not granted to everyone, but it is so important to me. This wanderlust is deep inside me and I still want to see so much. The older I get, the faster the years go by. It seems to me like a maelstrom that devours the years like a tornado and it can't be stopped. Am I not living life to the full?

After freshening up at the hotel, I spray my newly acquired Zara fragrance on my wrist and neck. At first, the wild leather scent is a little overpowering and penetrating. But over time, the leather melts into the cream and white Swiss chocolate, revealing a heavenly base that is both soft and sexy at the same time. Zara is my favorite clothing brand because their pieces are so playful, with ruffles, frills and flowers, just the way I've always liked it. That's why I often order from them and wham, I went for a blind buy with Cocoa Latte. I never thought I would use it so often.

We take a leisurely stroll to the beach. It's a wide, sweeping beach with a moving sea. Lots of Moroccan boys are playing football. I walk towards the sea and let the Atlantic Ocean touch my feet. It's a fresh feeling and I enjoy watching the waves. My heart is warm and it opens up. I am filled with deep gratitude. The sun slowly sets and transforms the nearby mountain into a deep red natural spectacle.

Anastasia's flower bouquet
Looking up to you today. Not just in the literal sense. Not so long ago, I was allowed to look down on you. My little girl. Time can't be stopped and I have the feeling that the older I get, the faster time seems to pass. Just a few years ago, I played the leading role in your life and you wouldn't have been able to imagine life without me. But now you're a teenager and want to prove your independence. "Bye mama" you call out to me and kiss me lovingly before heading off to school. The scent of fresia and jasmine whispers lines of spring to me, brightening my mood in a matter of seconds. The vanilla sweetly rounds it off, while the woods tell me an oriental story that immediately immerses me in another world. A truly touching and successful floral fragrance, created especially for my youngest offspring.

That's how it is with children. At first they are your biggest fan, only to realize at some point that you have become a bit embarrassing for them. As they get older, that happens again. I could write volumes here myself. It's just the course of time, the circle of life, the rebellion of youth, and it's just part of life until everything comes full circle - at best.

I like the fragrances from Sol de janeiro. This one is probably a little too flowery for me, but it smells just right on my daughter. Delicately floral, sweet and irresistible. A fragrance as if it had been created especially for my delicate Anastasia to underline her youthful femininity and delicacy.

Never forget,
Every day you laugh is a beautiful day.

With eternal love

Nostalgic fragrance
A gift box from Molton Brown was under the Christmas tree, beautifully wrapped with a velvet bow. The body lotion, shower gel and eau de toilette are all nicely wrapped up, looking at me nostalgically with their prints reminiscent of Harry Potter. Determined, I reach for the little eau de toilette and treat my wrist to the first spray. Ohhhhlala, pink pepper and fresia set a striking yet gentle tone, as if they have always lived together in symbiosis, joined by elemihart and a ripe mandarin from southern Italy, The world is beautiful up here. In the heart note, I predominantly perceive the rose and ginger, very subtle and yet long-lasting, almost calming, as if they had made it their mission to charm all fragrance worshippers, until the woods march in the drydown. Generally speaking, I don't come across fragrances like this very often; according to the description, it is of the spicy-fresh variety. And I am a gourmand noodle after all. But there is something about it that captivates me, am I just expanding my olfactory senses or does this little water remind me of an experience, an encounter or am I experiencing déjà vu?

I can't help but think of Dad and how wonderfully we used to sing together. Yes, Dad, it's been a long time and you've been gone for so long. The memories are fading, but every time I sing, you are there as if you had never left. Everything is energy, right Dad.

The story of Molton apparently began in 1971 with a hairdressing salon at 58 South Molton Street in London, whereupon new things were constantly created and developed. Definitely a newcomer that I will be subjecting to an in-depth fragrance review.

Sunrise in Osaka
An impressive sunrise takes its natural course in Osaka. The deep red sun warms the cold, damp ocean. The sun's gentle touch draws bright rays into the infinite sky. The formations of Mother Nature are of divine grace.

Kimiko witnesses the spectacle of nature. Her long, black hair, illuminated by the red rays of dawn, is reminiscent of dark, glittering branches hanging loftily from the trunk of a thick cherry tree. The scent of water jasmine and a hint of tangerine wafts over from your grandfather's hut. Pink pepper kisses the duo with the purest tenderness. The soul of the hut speaks of a colorful bouquet of flowers, but only the most exquisite varieties, as if it were their job never to take over the scepter. In the base note, a comforting vanilla blanket spreads out, on which the cedar settles with relish and the sandalwood invites you to a tête à tête.

The blend exudes pure Asian vibes. Quite floral for my taste, but the hint of Asian extravagance lilting in the background speaks soft, powdery volumes. The natural ingredients of the fragrance enhance the Juvel by leaps and bounds.

Kumiko's fragrance. Pure Asian vibes. Wanderlust? Do you feel it too?

Pura vida
Sunshine lingers in the tropical air. Humid. The Caribbean Sea crashes in gentle waves onto the beach of Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica. Our bodies tan with relish as we take in the "pura vida" like a beguiling promise. The scent of sea salt and caramel envelops us, a mixture of essences that invites us to dream, with one or two other fragrances thrown in for good measure. The majestic overall picture, the natural backdrop, the feeling of freedom and happiness inspire our souls with a depth that opens our hearts and empties our minds. Open to life in its purest form.

Cheirosa 71, a hearty gourmand fragrance that takes me on a long journey. Never too much of a good thing. Just as Cheirosa 62 fills my heart with joy, so does 71. A true jewel in the league of super-sweet fragrances. I think the brand is great, it offers great fragrances and body sprays at unbelievable prices and the packaging somehow reminds me of a suntan oil from the 80s, the name of which has just been deleted from my hard drive. Dad's favorite. I'll remember it again one day.

Costa Rica, here we come. Ready. Pura vida!
