the decisive 5-10% are missing
The obvious - how it smells and which fragrance it imitates - I will not elaborate on further, as many others have already covered this extensively. Instead, I want to focus on an aspect that I have never heard discussed on social media and similar platforms, and which I consider to be extremely significant.

In my opinion, the scent is 90-95% similar to the original, which can undoubtedly be regarded as a successful dupe. However, upon closer comparison, it becomes apparent that the ingredients and the harmony of the fragrance composition cannot keep up with the original. Here, I particularly think of the fact that the scent does not possess the same high-quality note. In a direct comparison, the difference is obvious. Whether this difference is also recognizable on the street, however, remains questionable. This sounds quite negative, the scent is by no means a bad fragrance and is well-received.

For me personally, this led to the conclusion that the wearing experience is not the same as with the original. It is important to be clear about whether this matters to you or not.

Expectations Not Met
Due to the positive reviews and recommendations, I had high expectations for this fragrance. After receiving a sample, I sprayed it on with great anticipation. As mentioned, powdery notes dominate this fragrance composition, while the freshness is perceived rather subtly in the background. The powdery elements give the fragrance a certain sweetness, which I believe is somewhat more pronounced than it actually is. Although the fragrance is quite linear overall, I want to emphasize that this is not meant negatively. However, I personally missed that certain something that makes it special and triggers a "wow" moment, as I had expected based on the reviews. The combination of powderiness and freshness did not fully convince me.

As for longevity and sillage, it lasted about 3-4 hours on my skin and was not particularly pronounced. Therefore, I would describe it as moderate.

Unexcited
This fragrance opens with a pleasant Mediterranean citrus note that brings a gentle fruitiness. As it develops, the floral components of orange blossom and neroli become more prominent. The initial citrus freshness diminishes, and the scent transforms into a predominantly floral composition. The subtle woody nuances, which primarily emerge in combination with the floral notes, give the fragrance a Mediterranean touch. If you have ever been to a beach on the Mediterranean and noticed the scent of dry, large wooden logs, you can somewhat imagine the undertones that resonate here.

Overall, I would describe this fragrance as unexcited and balanced. It is not the one that screams: "Whether you like it or not, here I am, you must notice me now." Instead, it unfolds more as a reserved, yet pleasantly noticeable scent cloud around you. It is very suitable for summer and the beach, but can also serve as a good everyday fragrance.

In my opinion, this fragrance has nothing to do with the Le Male line, and I would consider it an independent scent.

In terms of price-performance ratio, I find this fragrance very good. I do not know the scent "On The Beach | Louis Vuitton," although many see some similarities here. However, when considering the price-performance ratio, there is really nothing to complain about.

The bottle presents itself in the classic shape of Le Male. Personally, I even prefer the completely silver bottle without the T-shirt, as it looks very clean. Of course, this is a matter of taste and has nothing to do with the name-related theme, I want to make that clear.

Once a Hit, Now a Miss
I first bought the fragrance in 2017, right after its release, and was immediately captivated. The fresh and simultaneously cool character of the scent really appealed to me back then. It was something unique and refreshing.

Over the years, however, I have used the fragrance less and less. I have noticed that I no longer find the synthetic note as pleasant. It’s not so bad that I get headaches from it or that the scent is unbearable. It’s more that it no longer feels as high-quality or appealing to me.

The problem is that the synthetic note makes the fragrance feel cheap to me, almost like a scent from the drugstore. Unfortunately, this diminishes my enjoyment of wearing it. I wish it had a more natural and higher-quality component that would make it longer-lasting and more appealing, because I still like the basic DNA. It’s just my personal taste that has changed over time.

Solid
Currently, the fragrance is very popular, especially due to its strong performance and the excellent longevity that can definitely be attributed to it. The main components are, as often mentioned, pineapple and citrus fruits from grapefruit and bergamot. I find that the fragrance is also quite smoky and the moss note is always present in the background. For me, the overall picture of the moss notes combined with the smoky, citrusy, and fruity notes is not harmonious.

What I haven't mentioned, because it falls outside the evaluation of the fragrance, but could be important for some, is the fact that due to its similarity to Aventus and the corresponding clones, many fragrances will smell alike. So it’s not really unique, and there are many people on the street who smell similar. Whether one can really distinguish the differences is another question.
