A long lasting summer frag.
I am not sure what the hate is for. My girlfriend, who gets headaches from strong fragrances, bought this for me and loves when I wear it. I get compliments quite often when I wear this. Despite it’s sweetness, it is quiet wearable where I am in the summer. 90°+ and humid.
I pick up a slight animalic, musky note that is reminiscent of Kirke — I am not sure what it is — but it comes out maybe 20-30 minutes in and transforms this fragrance from a fruity bomb to something a bit darker, I am not sure how to describe it. But that note is what makes this fragrance so addictive to me.
Ignore the hate, this fragrance is amazing.
An all time favorite
Getting it out of the way, yes this does smell like Axe, Irish Spring — whatever comparison you want to make. But that is only for the first 30 minute to an hour of applying.
The dry down of this fragrance is what makes it so beautiful. It is so fresh, but so deep and dark. I’ve been a frequent shopper at Gucci since 2018. To me, this fragrance smells exactly like the men’s section of the store. Dark Purple velvet walls, green carpets, dimly lit corners. To me that is what this fragrance smells like on dry down. This scent is extremely nostalgic for me, but I still think absent that nostalgia one can enjoy this fragrance.
Gucci guilty black is probably one of the best blind reaches one can have in the collection without smelling like every other guy. Polo 67, sauvage, blue de Chanel, etc all smell the same and come from the same DNA. Gucci guilty black is different in that it is far more green, far more dark and far more alluring.

If you are curious to what this smells like, smell a bubble wand or febreeze. This is NOT masculine; which is disappointing after seeing many men — notably Jeremy fragrance — review this. This to me, is unfortunately a scrubber. If you enjoy very clean, floral, bright, fabric softener-esque scents this may be for you. I understand what people mean by saying this smells like being outside. When I smell this, I am 8 years old, in my backyard running in and out of the house washing my hands after getting them dirty and playing with bubbles.
Longevity and projection seem to decent. Lucky for me, I bought this for 40$ off their auction, so not too much lost.
