Between warmth, whisky and vanilla
Actually, the title of my review sums up the fragrance well and doesn't need to be elaborated on any further. :D
I came across the fragrance by chance in the souk and couldn't resist when I read the fragrance pyramid.
In my opinion, the citrusy notes fade very quickly and give way to a slightly alcoholic sweetness. Honey is perceptible in the background for the first few hours, but the whisky always resonates a little and is accompanied by a slightly spicy / herbaceous note after a while. It makes me think of a cellar where barrels are stored. The vanilla and minimally sweet notes remain in the drydown.
Whisky can have many facets, from sweet to woody to smoky, to name just a few, and I think this character is totally well reflected in the fragrance.
Rather nothing for summer but otherwise absolutely recommendable.
I also like the simple bottle with the cardboard box and Polaroid photo, which conveys the manufacturer's craft theme really well.
The spray head is wobbly and not so great.

Imagination with a twist
What can I say about this fragrance? For most people, it was immediately clear that this must be the next copy of LV Imagination. However, the pyramid offers a few differences that made me curious, so I had to get a bottling.
It arrived very quickly and I could hardly wait to test the fragrance.
Immediately after spraying it on, the Imagination Vibes naturally come to mind and the opening is simply very similar. I wouldn't compare it to Zara, it just smells much more artificial. But what is immediately noticeable is that everything is just a little more citrusy with a certain sharpness and freshness in the background. This comes first from the mint and later from the ginger. I only notice the lawendel very slightly, but the "sharp" freshness remains throughout. Cinnamon can only be guessed at in the drydown, the incense is simply more prominent here.
You can't help but be reminded of Imagination again and again. For me, the differences are simply due to the spiciness, a more citrusy DNA and the incense in the drydown, which gives the "Art of Arabia I | Lattafa / لطافة" enough character traits of its own in my eyes.
The shelf life is okay and I would classify it as average Freshy.
Lattafa has once again delivered an interesting fragrance here, where price and quality are simply convincing.

Quality away from the hype fragrances
I became aware of this fragrance through a nice conversation partner from the souk. The brand hasn't experienced any hype yet, but I don't think that's a bad thing, so the niche remains niche and the prices are more than fair.
The fragrance itself comes in a simple but handy bottle, the atomizer does its job as it should.
Immediately after spraying it on, there is a slightly citrusy note and something bitter paired with a slight sweetness. The whole thing can seem a little overwhelming at first but harmonizes after 10-15 minutes. After that, you notice this very light hemp / tobacco note, all very subtle and not intrusive. However, the freshness remains. In the drydown, more and more warm, slightly sweet accords are added, but it remains fresh and citrusy. I can really only detect the incense minimally, which I personally like.
For me, the fragrance is simply perfectly balanced. Throughout the pyramid, the freshness remains in combination with a slightly sweet spiciness and every time I smell my arm or sweater, I get a hint of calm, which is also represented by the ingredients such as hemp or cedar wood.
After a few hours, I discover many parallels with "Liam / ليام | Lattafa / لطافة" and "Gris Charnel (Eau de Parfum) | bdk Parfums". These fragrances all give me a clean, beautiful feeling and "Cozumel | Laboratorio Olfattivo" is no exception. The fragrance can still be clearly perceived even after several hours, at least by me, and that is most important because I also wear the perfume for myself.
A clear recommendation for me.

Not cheap but cheap with lots of quality, off to the lottery store
Over the last few weeks, I've been looking at fragrances that combine honey and tobacco. It didn't matter whether it was Naxos, Pure Havane or the matching Dua Dupe.
I also saw Insurrection II and bought it blind, which didn't cause me much pain given the price.
It came in a sturdy slipcase and a sample of the Interstellar fragrance was also included. I personally find the bottle visually appealing and if the fragrance cost 200 euros instead of 30, then the criticism of the bulky bottle would be a thing of the past and it would be an exceptional design, in my opinion.
Only the lid is terrible. You have to pull it off with force.
Let's move on to the fragrance:
It opens with a soft, warm honey note with tobacco. It's hard to describe, but it makes me think of an old cigar store where you could also play the lottery. Only with a little more sweetness.
This is followed by floral accords and a light spiciness. After a good hour, this floral spiciness is in the foreground, but the light tobacco/honey sweetness also comes through again and again. The scent is still perceptible on my clothes the next day and I am immediately back in the lottery store, which is definitely not meant in a negative way, but was part of my childhood.

Fragrance on steroids
I haven't been registered on the site for long, but after watching various video reviews I knew that I really wanted to try the Herod or Layton. I was all the more grateful that it was very quick and easy to get a bottle at the Souk.
I liked the interplay of the individual components very much, but somehow I had imagined something different in terms of the durability and projection, which just evaporated too quickly for me personally. I stumbled across the Trono and its good reputation rather by chance. The price is definitely attractive, although it has to be said that the low prices still cost 50% more than a direct order in Turkey, but then it will certainly be cost-intensive due to customs etc.
But now we come to the Trono itself. The bottle is simple, I think the spray head and cap are bad. The cap wobbles, doesn't fit properly and, in my opinion, the spray head works unevenly as far as the sprays are concerned.
Of course, looks don't play the primary role, so let's move on to the fragrance itself. Layton with more power, that says / writes it all. :D
Even after several tests with my left and right arm, on my clothes and after sniffing it for 24 hours, I can't find any difference, except that the durability and intensity is simply stronger.
It starts off very fruity with a clear apple note, then slowly fades into floral notes before the woody accords kick in. Vanilla can be perceived very easily, but what I think is best is that this fruity note does not fade, but remains.
Price / performance are simply top and I give a clear recommendation to buy.
