Not my Euphoria
I was very excited for this when it just came out, but quickly lost interest in my sample because I was disappointed by it. Now, many months later, I'm giving it a final try to write this review.

The problem with My Euphoria is not that it smells bad, just that it's very generic with a much more interesting sounding notes list. Especially the black sesame made me curious, but I detect absolutely none of it.

I'd describe this as a warm, fruity, slightly sweet and slightly woody perfume. Blackcurrant is the most prominent note, but honestly, it could be any kind of berry. Next comes the powdery, vanillic orchid that works as a backdrop for the currant. And if you really press your nose onto your skin, you can also sense a slight woodsy sharpness that I guess is supposed to be oud. A clean oud, of course, and really not much of it. And that's the whole fragrance.

It has not much in common with the original Euphoria. Sure, it's roughly in the same family, but it's really just a boring second cousin. If you want an updated version of Euphoria, please try Euphoria Intense, it's my favorite of the line and keeps the spirit of the original.

Potpourri on a candy apple
In the opening this is really nice, like a sweet, juicy, freshly glazed red candy apple mixed with a fresh, airy magnolia. And yes, it's really identifiable as magnolia and not just a vague floral whatever like many other magnolia fragrances. More girly than lady, but who cares?

Unfortunately, it gets worse from now on. A dry, potpourri-like note emerges from the background after just a few minutes. It smells a little rosy, like stale dried rose petals with room spray on them. Honestly something someone would put up in their bathroom. It's subtle, and I think if you don't mind this kind of floral all that much, you might not notice it at all - but once you did, you won't unsmell it. It's annoying and ruins the lovely interplay between the glazed apple and magnolia.
I don't know if this is maybe supposed to be white amber, as I smell absolutely nothing ambery in this fragrance.

As a whole, this reminds me of Bath & Body Works Winter Candy Apple products in a way. Not because they smell really similar, they don't, I don't think the Pierre Guillaume brand ever made anything with B&BW DNA. I just think both promise too much candy apple and deliver way more soapy, unbalanced florals instead. Meh.

Industrial cherry
Kirsch starts out harsh with leather and booze, but you can smell the cherry right away. It's a very juicy cherry, somewhere in between sweet and sour, which adds a nice contrast to the cool, dry leather.
This leather has a plasticy undertone, it's rough and industrial feeling, honestly, it even smells a bit like fresh paint. My favorite kind of leather is the soft, feminine type that smells like a nice handbag, but I prefer this cold and synthetic version over the warmer, animalic kind that often just smells dirty and offputting to me. If you hate intentionally synthetic scents, you might not like it though.
The saffron, which feels more sterile than spicy here, adds to the harsh feel of the leather.
Regarding the boozy notes, they remind me more of the titular kirschwasser, a clear fruit spirit, than the rum mentioned in the notes list.
And the iris, which is less powdery than usual, can tame some of the roughness of the other notes, but also adds to the coolness of it all.

Most of the scent feels grey and silvery-metallic to me.
Only the cherry is allowed to be playful and adds some bursts of red.

This is not really my style, but nicely done.
I can imagine that people who want cherry without the usual sweet fruity-floral or gourmand vibes will be very happy with it. For reference, my favorite leathery cherry is Estée Lauder Modern Muse Le Rouge Gloss, which is unfortunately discontinued, and a warmer, more feminine take on the concept.

Dreamy, airy green vanilla
This vanilla starts out fresh and green. It reminds me of green banana skin at times, especially in the opening, which is not a complaint at all. There is also a touch of warm spiciness that made me think of cinnamon.
The titular Vanilla itself is bright and airy, sweet without being cloying, even a little milky, and of course the star of the show through the whole wear.

The notes mend together and gradually get warmer and more ambery as the scent dries down. It's not the most complex fragrance ever, but more nuanced than many other vanilla solinotes. I like the first hours a bit better than the final drydown though.

I see that this has some votes as similar to Dries van Noten Vanille Camouflage, and while both are green vanillas in essence, I don't think they're that close. I really like Vanille Camouflage, but I find the opening of it challenging because it's so leafy and grassy. Vanilla Planifolia is pretty and approachable right from the start. I honestly can't think of a scent that smells quite the same, even though I have tried many green vanilla scents. The cinnamon and banana aspects make it unique.

Another thing I appreciate about this is that it's a versatile scent. Fresh but warm. I can see it both in summer and winter, and anywhere in between. In my opinion it's more of an everyday fragrance, but it wouldn't be out of place at a nice evening event either. Just an all-around feelgood vanilla.

Do you want to smell like a muffin?
The rumors are true! Well, at least to my nose. This really does smell like a blueberry muffin, with just the right amount of tea and florals to make it transparent and wearable.

I know it's supposed to smell like blackcurrants, not blueberry, but currants have a tartness that I just don't get here. The muffin associations obviously come from both the vanilla and the puffed rice note, which gives the scent a toasty, baked feeling. Adding cyclamen was a nice idea, as it's a light, watery floral that keeps the fragrance from being too heavy and cloying. I can't say that I smell any woodsy notes here, and I also don't see a lot of change from the opening to the drydown. The bakery vibes wear off a bit, but with vanilla in the base, it doesn't make a huge difference. It smells like a sweet, delicious blueberry dessert all the way. So cute and fun!

Now to the bad part:
In my opinion this is a novelty scent.
A perfectly executed and unique one, but come on, it smells like a blueberry muffin and therefore shouldn't cost 300€ for 60 ml, even with the beautiful packaging. If someone gifted this to me or sold it for a third of the price, I would certainly wear it, but spending so much money for something with very little complexity doesn't sit right with me.
