A sky full of powdery clouds
You might be disappointed by Sky if you're looking for something with popcorn as a standout note or if you hope for something just as kitschy and camp as the hot air balloon bottle.
But if you're looking for a clean scent for every day, it's actually quite a lovely choice.

The popcorn note is a nice, subtle addition in the opening that warms up the scent. Unfortunately it doesn't last long, despite officially being a base note.
What's left is a musky, creamy to powdery floral. I can't say that it smells like any specific, defined flowers - and in this case I'm glad for it, because one of the listed notes is lily-of-the-valley, which I just don't like and often find screechy. It smells more like a soft, clean blend of different florals.
The drydown is a bit too cool for my personal taste, but that's wholly a matter of personal preferences. I still like the scent.

I think the name Sky is very fitting for this airy cloud of a fragrance, it's just the cute, over the top, borderline childish bottle that makes you expect something louder and sweeter.

That's it?
I have never tried Moroccanoil products. To be perfectly honest, I think the famous hair oil is borderline scammy. It consists mainly of the same silicones you get in any cheap old drugstore haircare, with argan oil being further down the ingredient list. So the reason why it's so popular must have something to do with the scent, and I was very curious to try the matching perfume.

Well, if the hair products smell the same as the perfume, I understand the hype even less.
To me this scent feels quite masculine and harsh. It has a bit of that warm, oily hair salon scent, like a vaguely floral, nourishing hair mask and blowdryer air. But on top of that, there is a sharpness that reminds me more of "sporty" men's shower gels than anything else. Really confusing, I did not expect that. None of the notes really stand out. Vanilla and violet are completely absent. It's just a vague mixture of florals, a touch of lemon and woodsy, musky notes.
The drydown is a little nicer and more floral, feminine leaning than the opening.

I don't know if this fragrance smells like the other products. If you know and like them, it might be worth a try - if not, it's completely skippable. Not the worst thing I've ever smelled, honestly not really offensive at all, but just not that great.

A soft vanilla cloud with a touch of fire
Ginger is neither my favorite note, nor one I dislike. I was surprised how much I love this very ginger-forward scent.
I think it's the contrast of the fiery, refreshing ginger and sparkly tangerine on a very soft, cozy and comforting vanilla base.
This is a bright, airy kind of vanilla that is carefully interwoven with fluffy white musk and creamy florals. It feels like a cloud of powder around you. The tuberose subtly hypnotic without overtaking the scent.
The tangerine is gone after the opening, but the ginger sticks to the base over the whole duration of the fragrance.

Apart from that, Ruby Red reminds me of Kenzo Amour, one of my all time favorites. I also get the comparison to Aedes Cierge de Lune, which smells like a spicier Amour to me, too - just with suede and pepper instead of ginger. I love this concept of a enveloping, feminine fragrance with a bit of a kick. Might sound cheesy, but I feel like it really fits my personality.

I also think this is very easy to wear and suitable for most occasions, day and night, and any weather except extreme heat. Warm enough for winter time, light enough for warmer days, soft enough for the office but with enough character for going out. Truly signature-worthy.

The only things I don't get are the name and bottle color. Nothing about this feels red, to me this is a white/cream and gold scent. Maybe with some red or orange specks, but definitely not wholly ruby red, much less a red storm.

Strawberry, but make it grown-up
I have never been a big fan of Creed. It's just not an appealing brand to me, the vibes and marketing are so boring, and the few scents I tried never captured me. The dudebro hype around Aventus that would not die down for years didn't make the house any more appealing either. So, it comes as a surprise to me that I really love this scent, even though it doesn't seem to be popular on here.

Fragaria is the perfect mix of sweet, girly strawberry and a ladylike lipstick scent.
This strawberry is neither cloying, nor too sour and underripe. Like a freshly picked woodland strawberry!
The berry dances and sparkles on top of waxy iris and powdery violet. Together they really smell like a high quality cream lipstick.
All the other notes are more subtle additions: A touch of tingly pepper in the opening, a little praline sweetness and just a whisper of patch to balance it out.

This is a very uplifting feel-good scent to me, that still feels a little more serious than other strawberry-forward perfumes. It's ideal for the warmer months. Makes me want to put on a cute sundress or midi skirt and top combo, obviously with some pink as part of the outfit.
Strawberry and lipstick-like iris are a match made in heaven, I wonder why they are not put together more often. Wonderful.

A little magnolia, no bliss
Ah, magnolias. Such beautiful flowers with a lovely scent, but for some reason it rarely translates to perfumes. This is another one that disappointed me.

It starts out quite scratchy and citrusy. Guess that's meant to evoke the lemony-fresh aspects of magnolia blossoms, but it smells more like a random deodorant to me.
As it dries down it gets creamier and less sharp, and starts to smell more like magnolias. But it's far from blissful, it's just okay. The floral notes are quite faint compared to the citrusy top, and a bit of sharpness sticks to them all the way through.

All in all, this is a weak release by JHAG and cements their reputation of making unpleasantly synthetic scents. I say that as a person who likes some of their other fragrances. It doesn't smell completely awful, the drydown is okay, but all in all it's a dud.
