Miami is calling
It’s early February, 26 degrees and pure sunshine - high humidity. The waves are crashing and a gentle, sweet scent that is also fresh rises to your nose. The sweetness comes from the pear and the softness from the amber, the freshness kick from bergamot and lemon, and the floral notes make up the super interesting fragrance. I was magically drawn into a perfumery by an interesting smell in the Miami Beach shopping mile. I had to know what that scent was. Ultimately, the lady couldn’t tell me either, as in such stores the scents usually come from an air freshener ..(or something like that) but she said she had something similar - something in the direction of sea breeze, freshness & summer. Then she gave me the Citizin Jill and I was smitten. It simply had to come home with me to make the cold D-land a bit warmer! It’s a shame that it’s hard to find here - but Miami - I will be back and then I know what I will have in my luggage :)

Comme une Evidence: For the Romantics
The name means in German: Like a proof.
As a young woman, I wore Comme une Evidence, that was about 13-15 years ago and a little after that. Even today, the memories of that time bring a warm smile to my face. It only just occurred to me, after I finally bought this fragrance again, that I also wore it when I was pregnant with my first child. The memory of it came rushing back immediately. I had forgotten!
The opening of this fragrance is an ode to the queen of flowers - the rose. Its velvety petals ignite a delicate yet powerful presence. The floral accord is balanced by the green freshness of the chypre scent (through moss and violet leaf), which gives the perfume a noble yet natural note.
The longevity is average; it lasts until lunchtime, and you can certainly treat yourself to another spritz. The sillage that this fragrance leaves behind is unobtrusive yet unforgettable, inviting you to linger and dream. The scent wafts like a small, invisible veil behind you.
For the woman who longs for a touch of elegance and a pinch of romance, it is the perfect companion. Price-wise, it is definitely recommended.
Target audience: More feminine, for lovers of classic and elegant fragrances.
A fragrance that creates memories.

Fresh Kick with Woody DD
The whole line is based on well-known cocktails - as I've heard - and the packaging (in a stainless steel shaker) also suggests this. I haven't had a Painkiller yet, so I won't make any reference to that.
The first spray: Pineapple kicks in, lemon could also be listed. Very fruity, punchy, and slightly spicy.
The drydown: Suddenly, for me, it's a different scent. The citrus is hardly there anymore and is replaced by sandalwood. Now the scent strongly reminds me of my
Santal-Basmati and has become softer and almost creamy.
I noticed the scent on my clothes the next day. On the skin, the scent was present at least for half a day, coming and going.
I like this progression, but I wish the fruity freshness could last a bit longer.
In my opinion, the scent is clearly unisex. It can be worn anytime and anywhere.

Floral Notes Instead of Gourmand
I read the fragrance notes and expected a tasty gourmand. When the bottle arrived, I found the choice of a bright pink color a bit strange. One does not expect a gourmand behind such a glaring magenta.
To start, I don't think the scent is bad.
Unfortunately, it is somewhat misguided by the listed ingredients. Some, like jasmine and tuberose, I can smell and they definitely dominate.
The top note is very floral and there is a slight creaminess hidden behind it. It can definitely be worn, but I see this scent more suited for a younger, female clientele - as it is also quite sweet.
After about 10-15 minutes, the scent becomes creamier and something that reminds me of
Vanilla & Chestnut comes through. The floral aspect is still present, creating this slightly discordant note. It’s as if the scent cannot decide. Am I a floral freshie or do I want to be a creamy gourmand?
I’m not upset with it, especially not at this price. I think the 30ml bottle will be used up quickly, as you have to reapply several times.
However, I definitely won’t need to buy it a second time.

Rain Washes Away Worries
First of all, I love the scent and this type of fragrance overall. It’s like fresh laundry still hanging on the line, drying after the rain, and the smell of the terrace soaked in a puddle. The sun is finally shining again, laying its golden arms on the white cotton T-shirts.
All worries from the previous day, when the air was still tense and humid, are gone. Washed away by the rain.
A great clean skin scent that doesn’t scream loudly, radiates a bit bluish, and slowly fades away after a lovely afternoon.
Unisex, Year-round, Timeless
