Rainy, but warm
This is one of the fragrances that I've been most excited to get to as I work my way through the Replica discovery kit, and it gave me everything that I wanted from it.
When The Rain Stops is a lovely, warm petrichor scent. I don't get much bergamot or pink pepper, but the aquatic and green notes sing from the first spray, and last about an hour. Over the first two hours of wear the aquatic notes take a back seat, and the greens shine as base notes of patchouli and moss come out to play. This combination sticks around for about another two hours - after that, I find it difficult to detect much of anything, but as an EDT I don't find that unreasonable.
It's a lovely, rainy scent that also manages to capture the feeling of standing in a field with the sun shining down on you. 'When The Rain Stops' is the perfect name for this fragrance, and I can see myself reaching for it frequently as we come out of Winter and into Spring.
