BR 540 divides opinion. Some acclaim the fragrance, others demonize it. There is no black or white. But then there's the group like me, who have their difficulties with the original fragrance but don't actually think it's that bad. It's a kind of in-between. For them, the cheaper cousins of the fragrance sprout up like mushrooms. A close relative is Belle Icône, where I like the strawberry scent. So it's a spring cousin.

Elegant Women is the summer cousin, because I smell citrusy notes at the beginning and a little fir resin. Like walking through a pine forest in the summer heat. The beginning doesn't smell like hairspray either, which is typical for La Rive. Otherwise very close to BR 540, but still a little different. Not bad, but I like the relative with the strawberry scent better. But that's a matter of taste.

Lasts 5-6 hours and can be sniffed close to the skin later. Now in the cold season (it has snowed here in the Bergisches Land) I find the fragrance suitable.

The bottle is simple and elegant, albeit angular and not suitable for a handbag. But you can fill it up.

This week the La Rive fragrances at RM for 4.99 euros. An absolutely good fragrance for the price. But you should get away from the idea that it's a copy or something of BR540. Rather see it as a nice cousin, where you notice the relationship...ehm smells

In itself I have it lately no longer so much with the fragrances of La Rive. Often it seemed with a repurchase, as if one had also taken here the red pencil and made the fragrance cheaper.

Yes and there laughed at me in storm and pouring rain outside this fragrance. Lonely and abandoned he stood there on the shelf. Only one bottle was there. Since it is my regular branch of the with the horse, I know the fragrance shelves quite well. The fragrance was not in the assortment until now. The relatives of the company are now all too flat for me. So too sweet and often smelling like hairspray. Swiped around it three times and first put my other stuff I came for in the basket. I dared to do what I do very rarely in itself, namely a blind purchase. But since I had already internalized the fragrance pyramid some time ago, I could dare.

At home then immediately tested and pleasantly surprised. The beginning floral fresh with a little coconut. But not at all like the macaroons soon to be baked again, but rather rounded. Of the following floral scents I could not sniff out any, but the bouquet I found successful. Then later sandalwood rounded things off. Fortunately, no vanilla to smell, because that belongs for me in the cake.

Bottom line, a summery but slightly fresh fragrance that can also be worn very well in autumn / winter. Discreet and not intrusive. An Immergeher that does not slay the environment. Flacon a round thing that is quite simple and I like. Likewise, the shelf life of 4-5 hours

In my regular drugstore the fragrance shelf was remodeled and from the company Unic three fragrances were put in. Had tested the company before, but when I decided to buy Jasmine, it was gone. At the same time, the fragrance at the time was more than good.

A spirited test and my nose said that's him, the fragrance of yesteryear. He is now called Jasmine Heart and is bottled in a simple bottle to 30ml.

Who now expects a bouquet of lush white flowers will be disappointed, because there is only one white flower and that is the jasmine. No more and no less. Just like the flower in the garden smells. Clear, direct, straightforward and without frills. Simply there and from beginning to end. At the beginning a little weaker, then stronger and then weaker again and still quite a long time, so 5 hours there. Only then it becomes even less.

At the price, some may turn up their noses, but this fragrance has character in my eyes and can take it well with more expensive fragrances. But you have to like jasmine. There is no in-between. Who likes him is well served.

Automatically you think of the fragrance on a hot summer day and people like me, who had their teeny time in the 70s, the song by Danyel Gerard comes to mind, which is longer an evergreen.

Once again a Köpper in the horse drugstore and a little time out before the fragrances allowed. On the shelf jumped me this new addition of before the nose. This fragrance here starts very nicely with bergamot and maritime notes, which like very much. Then peony and rose, which are also my favorites. Oh I thought at the first sniff, that's him, the fragrance for the summer. Oops quickly the flowers were gone and something woody came. Fortunately no vanilla, because that belongs for me in the Christmas bakery and not in a fragrance. I don't want to smell like cookies in the summer. Unfortunately, I was pressed for time and didn't wait. Thought I can also still decide at home whether he is what or not.

Took me 7 minutes by car then home. Wrist to the nose and away was the nice scent. That can not go but with right things, that a fragrance holds a maximum of 10 minutes. If it were longer lasting, then it would be a great scent and not a second scent. Even after the time no more breath on the skin.

So actually we had the fragrance differently in memory. More balanced, powdery and floral. Although what opulent, but more harmonious. Nothing for yes actually....no group ladies.
