The rating is probably more of a whim
The scent starts off very alcoholic and the citrusy notes are also noticeable for the first few minutes
But nothing really bad but not really flattering either.
Then, after 3-5 minutes, it actually shows what it wants to be.
Citrusy but not bright lemon but rather orange or mandarin mixed with soft woods and some gentle clean musk, and I quickly find musk smelly, but not here. The rose gives a really pleasant unobtrusive but noticeable sweetness to the finish, which is made up of the fading freshness and citrus, leaving a clean woody musky soap that doesn't come across as heavy or sultry and still gives a hint of the orange freshness.
Making such a fragrance last a long time inevitably leads to an initial overload, but then it is also beautifully present for a long time with a well-dosed projection.
Synthetically, it is rather in the lower midfield among today's competition (some jo Malone start no differently) and if it had de Marley, Gebauer, Lattafa or Louis Vuitton written on it and it hadn't quickly landed on the sweaty hands of Rossmann during weekend shopping, the rating would look completely different On offer for 15€ such a crowd pleaser.
