Aged Rum Barrels with Leather Notes
Right from the first spray, you are hit with strong pepper and incense notes. Definitely a start I did not expect, and it will certainly knock many off their feet. And yes, it takes some time to regain your senses here.

I imagine old rum and whiskey barrels, long stored in the belly of an old ship, just waiting to be unloaded. And as you look around, various things are stored nearby, bringing with them a dark yet noble scent.

After the very striking start, a pleasant leather scent breaks through. It already gives the whole experience a truly noble note that holds throughout the rest of the journey. No trace of the rather alcoholic beginning.

If you are looking for a distinctive leather scent that is also very affordable, you will definitely find it here. The longevity is truly impressive, and you will definitely be noticed.

However, I don't think this scent really suits a young man under 20; rather, it needs a wearer who has a certain presence. All in all, though, it's a fantastic piece that deserves attention.

Salty Sweet 40 Knots
When I first saw reviews for 40 Knots, they were quite positive, and my visit to the perfume store confirmed this after intense testing.

After the first spray, a lightly salty fresh sweetness makes its way. Yes, it sounds abstract, but that's exactly what it is for me. Not a cloyingly sweet sticky something, but a truly well-balanced saltiness. In my opinion, this fragrance has the best chances on a cool evening. And yes, the classification of the JTC collection into a yacht club hits the nail on the head for me.

After a few hours, the honey also gets its due and completes this masterpiece elegantly. I wouldn't have expected such a wonderful interplay between salty and sweet in the drydown. And to be honest, I found it very hard to say no to such a fragrance. It simply had to come with me.

As for longevity and sillage, I can only say the following. It lasts for about 7 hours, so it's not a mind-blowing scent that clings all day, and the sillage could certainly be a bit better. But you don't necessarily need to be recognized by the perfume from meters away.

Nevertheless, I can clearly recommend testing this. If you're really looking for something that not everyone wears, you've definitely found something here.

Tobacco and Honey in the Finest Form
The most hyped fragrance from the house of Xerjoff, in my opinion, definitely lives up to its expectations.

Naxos starts unexpectedly fresh, which I did not anticipate at all. However, this moment does not last too long, and the honey makes its presence known. Very noble honey, in my imagination already quite viscous, making its way through.

You can also tell that Xerjoff has really fine-tuned every little detail here. To perfectly round it off, cinnamon and tobacco come into play. Of course, a perfect companion for the cold days.

What might be the typical uniform blend of tobacco and honey for some, is in my opinion absolute perfection. And no, you won't smell this everywhere.

Longevity and sillage are also, as one has often come to expect from Xerjoff, absolutely top-notch. Anyone looking for a good and noble fragrance in this category must test this one.

The Grapefruit Bomb!
The first time I came into contact with Rosso Pompei, it was unfortunately already autumn. Right from the first spray, the grapefruit comes through clearly and dominates the entire scent progression.

Somehow, the whole fragrance composition also reminds me a bit of Fanta. For me, it's such a refreshing Fanta that is definitely perfect for the warmer spring days and especially for summer.

And I would like to touch on the topic of sillage right away. Rosso Pompei starts with a solid kick of fresh grapefruit, which can be quite room-filling in the first hours if you overdo it with the sprays. The fact is, you will be noticed, and positively at that.

In my opinion, it's already difficult to find a fresh scent that lasts long, but this one does it completely. Longevity is easily 11-12 hours, rounded off nicely at the end with sandalwood.

For me, it's one of the most interesting summer fragrances that you must try, and therefore, I give it a clear recommendation to buy.

A Fragrance of the Finest Quality
Describing this fragrance is really not easy, as you really have to like Oud. The opening is quite striking, with lavender and rosewood clearly dominating, and a bit of apple comes into play as well. Nevertheless, I find the whole composition very elegantly packaged.

At first, it seems a bit piercing, but once the rose and the oud come into play, it truly becomes a masterpiece. Oud in its true class. Not a barnyard scent as some might suspect with oriental fragrances, but a fine and balanced oud note that is rounded off by vanilla at the end. And yes, I also find the price somehow justified.

I don't want to digress too much here; for me, Alexandria II is a fragrance that really needs to be tested. Longevity and sillage are truly more than good, easily 10 hours +
But be careful with the number of sprays, as that can quickly become too much.
