It was a BB... and I had sworn not to make any more purchases. Well, I also ordered the shower gel & body oil. The package arrives, I sniff it, and I'm initially quite disappointed. In the top note, I perceive the salty note prominently. Luckily, it disappears after a short time. In the dry down, we have a cool coconut, embedded in petitgrain, and I also notice delicate vanilla. Not jasmine at all.

So: It's okay. I will use all the bottles and spray the flacon empty soon. It works well in summer, but the H/S is quite mediocre to poor.
The scent is good for summer once the top note has faded (which happens quickly). It really is a beach scent; the clothes smell faintly of musk the next day. It's not as bad as I thought at first sniff. Would I buy it again? No.
Is it comparable to Parfum Divin? Not at all for me, not even the first scent impression, which is definitely not.

Fresh soap and a delicate spiciness. The scent for the serious man with serious intentions. You get what you see. Authentic and friendly. This fragrance represents clarity, calmness, and structure. It is not worn by anyone who wants to stand out at all costs and believes they are the strongest stallion in the stable without actually being so.

We have a subtle freshness here; the scent does not undergo a significant development - except that it becomes quieter over time - those who wish can spray more. A lovely combination of lavender, mint, orange, Ambroxan, and Ambrett gives it a bit more solidity.

It is suitable for the office, for sports, in the spiritual realm, and for serious dating (it is not a fiery seducer). Therapists of all kinds can gladly wear this scent, in my opinion, as it is perceived by most people as pleasant, calming, and trust-inspiring.

I see this fragrance more for gentlemen; it has typically masculine vibes for me - but as always, it applies that one wears what they like.

Sillage is moderate to weak. We have it in our program here, and it is occasionally pulled out from the corner, often on weekends, at home, and quite suitable for casual wear. For sleeping, I find it a bit too piercing in the top notes for the first few minutes; it does not calm down - it needs to settle first.

I had to get used to it at first. In fact, I had it and sold it, but then realized that I missed it. For me, this is a scent that I need to be in the mood for. Very special in a way, but still pleasing in an interesting manner.

It starts off spicy-vanilla with a hint of caramel. In the dry down, we still have the vanilla quite noticeable with a touch of citrus, although for my nose it's only marginally detectable. All in all, this blend is very successful.

So, for what occasion do I wear this? Not in a professional context (I work with people). I could imagine that this scent might be too much for some, especially if they're not feeling great.

Parties, outdoor events, clubbing - these are occasions for me to wear it. I also wear it at home or when shopping. As mentioned, I need to be in the mood for it. It's not an everyday scent; sometimes it stresses me out.

In my opinion, it is suitable for both men and women. It’s a candidate for those looking to explore the world of oriental fragrances.

One last word about this bottle: I find it simply beautiful. Heavy, fits well in the hand - I like it. Lattafa really knows how to do it; they master packaging, especially at these prices. The fragrances come in high-quality vessels, beautifully presented with all sorts of playful details. The outer packaging is also sturdy and embodies a very special aesthetic. I like that.

In the opening, a freshness reminiscent of the past. I see the scent on serious, conservative owners of medium-sized companies, on bank officials, ministers, finance professionals - aged 55 and up. Old-fashionedness doesn’t necessarily have to be seen negatively; it can also relate to trust, stability, goodwill, and structure.

What do we have here? A very respectable fragrance, it opens with bergamot, which quickly fades and gives way to a woody fig that remains well-preserved until about the end. H/S very good, P/L superb.

I would say: It’s suitable if you are over 55 and embody the more stable, security-loving, serious male type.

By the way, I really like the bottle, just like the female counterpart Une Histoire de Femme Sensuelle - I find it quite extraordinary and perfectly fitting for the scent. Unfortunately, the spray head is terrible, which doesn’t contribute to the overall enjoyment, as you always end up with your fingers soaked in perfume, and that’s not fun. But at this price, you have to make some compromises.

The overall package is quite successful; if you want something really serious in between, you are well served here.

I might not wear it on a first date, nor as a young person. But if I were a mature man with serious ambitions - go for it.

Yes, it is expensive. But it is also truly unbelievably good. For me, it combines everything I wish for in a summer fragrance. Lightness combined with potency - you rarely find that in summer freshies. It has a gigantic radiance. Fragrances by Quentin are generally too strong and too scratchy for me; Guidance or even Delina wear me out. But here - it is simply mine. Light and strong, bright and dark, lush and slender - oh, what a fragrance.

In the opening, a fruit-floral splash comes along that is second to none. This initial impression lasts the whole time - although gradually becoming weaker. Instead, warm vanilla and brilliant teen notes come to the forefront, the progression is just so wonderfully combined for my nose. Very delicate leather nuances round off the composition downwards, mint, pomegranate, and cedar form the delicious base.

This composition really gets to me; if there were only this one perfume and maybe "Angélique Noire | Guerlain," that would be completely fine with me.

Sillage and longevity are more than good for such a fresh scent, noticeable in hair and clothing for a long time, on my (very dry) skin a good 6 hours, which is perfectly sufficient for me. Sprayed in the morning, still present in the evening - oh, I love it.
