Green Spring Musk Cloud
After my bottle has matured for two or three months, I can now describe how it smells.
It is floral without smelling like a specific flower. More like the general spring air, where the scent of many blossoms from different tree species mingles. Spring air describes it well. Because it is airy and loose, surrounding you like a cloud.
Additionally, the green notes come through clearly. Like a crisp green leaf that has just rolled fresh from a plant, without being bitter or astringent.
As with many musk fragrances, it smells best in the air and not when you hold your nose directly to the skin. The longevity is extremely good for such a light scent. After 9 hours, I can still perceive it. From the beginning, it has no far-reaching sillage. And yet, it is well perceived by others at a distance of 30cm to 40cm. Even with 6 sprays, you won’t overwhelm anyone.
The fruity notes and the tobacco are rather woven into the background, providing a hint of subtle sweetness and grounding, so it doesn't become prickly floral and piercing.
In my opinion, it has no soapy undertones and no body lotion consistency.
With it, you are enveloped in a well-groomed transparent scent cloud.
A test recommendation and my highlight for this spring.

Durable Summer Citrus Fruit
Discovered at the Rossmann around the corner for €13. There was no tester, so I googled the scent notes and took it home blindly.
It starts citrusy and zesty. But throughout the entire duration, absolutely no toilet bowl vibes! More like it makes your mouth water. And it never gets prickly or sharp. I believe this is because the jasmine adds a bit of sweetness and rounds it out. But jasmine does not take center stage; it is beautifully woven in. So it is not a classic jasmine scent.
Especially in the first 10 minutes, I can clearly smell the gardenia. It is only that floral at the beginning.
As it develops, the citrus notes and the pineapple remain. The pineapple leans more towards acidity and less towards sweetness - the term 'pineapple sorbet' really hits the mark. It doesn't smell like edible fruit to me, but like perfume. On my skin, everything stays citrusy and fruity until the end, with a slight hint of sweet flowers that makes it fragrant and wonderfully rounds it out.
The longevity for me is up to 8 hours. For a citrusy, lighter scent, I find that really impressive!
I find it super refreshing and invigorating in the summer. Overall, a very nice fragrance experience.
It is definitely worth testing on the skin if you are looking for a beautifully rounded citrus-fruity perfume with very good longevity.

My Fragrance for the Tropics
Among all the other scents I tested that day at Müller, Idôle Nectar stood out clearly. It has something very special. No other fragrance smelled like this. So I bought it on a whim.
To me, it smells rosy, clean, and sweetly dry. A beautiful, rounded fabric softener rose. Nothing pricks me.
The longevity is very, very good. About 10-12 hours. And for me, it even performed very well in the tropics. Due to the constantly humid skin, even other long-lasting fragrances quickly gave up the ghost there, as they were washed away by sweat. But this one stayed! When the air in Bali was thick and full of exhaust and smoke, Idôle Nectar gave me a fresh cleanliness that I desperately longed for.
I recognize the relationship to the original Idôle, but here comes the clue: In the Nectar version, there is no patchouli compared to the original. And I find that so, so great! I recently discovered that all the fragrances that prick my nose and give me headaches have one common denominator: patchouli.
Therefore, Idôle Nectar is the better and more wearable version of Idôle for me.

Makes me feel good
Matt pink bottle - I love it. So I directly tested a spritz on my skin at DM.
At first, I clearly smell cherry. Similar to some Balea cream showers - which I like to use. Especially at the beginning, it smells like a pink cloud. But in my opinion, it’s not cotton candy.
About an hour later, the fruity notes fade and the tonka bean comes more to the forefront, it becomes warmer. I cannot perceive the flowers in the heart note. I especially do not smell lily of the valley at all. But I find that good because I sometimes find them piercing.
With every hand movement, I catch a noticeable but not overpowering hint of pink vanilla. I am very happy that I don’t get a headache from it (which is unfortunately the case for me with certain sweet or vanilla notes).
All in all, Lovely Memory along with its bottle color really makes me feel good and is a candidate for purchase for me :)
I am curious to test the other Bilou scents (when our DM has them in stock again soon).

I'm amazed!
I read reviews about Chloe Nomade yesterday and stumbled upon Desert Dream as a dupe. So today I went straight to Aldi Nord and bought it blind. (I have never smelled Nomade by Chloe, though.)
I tested Desert Dream all day long in winter temperatures and I'm thrilled and amazed!
At first, it smells a bit citrusy, similar to a blue Axe shower gel, which fades after 10-15 minutes.
After that, it becomes dry, woody, and spicy. It slightly reminds me of the herbal aroma of Bio-Fritzkola (which contains cardamom), but completely without the sweetness of Fritzkola ;-)
It becomes very close to the skin after a short time. I find the overall longevity of about 4-5 hours great for the price.
I usually tend towards clean or floral creamy scents, and I'm quite amazed at how much I like this one.
Because I quickly get headaches from certain chypre notes or very sweet perfumes, like La vie est belle or Armani Si, unfortunately, many of the common perfumes don't work for me. That's why I'm even more excited that I could discover a new fragrance direction for myself through Desert Dream and its spiciness.
I will definitely let my husband test the scent and see how it develops on him. I find it totally unisex - although I think everyone can wear anything as long as they like it.
An absolute recommendation from my side!
