Well, when I read the review by *FreyaFall*, I was kind of hooked.
I was particularly taken with the "green notes and tea" in the heart note.
I love the scent of green tea.
So I quickly pulled out my ordering finger and.....you know.....
I eagerly unpacked the fragrance and sprayed it on. Wait a minute.....you know this one.....grübel....a former fragrance from your collection smells similar....jaaaa, the
L'arc or "Musk VIP" from Fragrance World, which is not listed here in the database.
The opening of Musk Blend is alcoholic, synthetic green, diffusely floral and somehow fruity.
Unfortunately, I can't smell the tea advertised in the heart note, which is probably lost in the dominant synthetic green note.
The musk plays its cards very quickly here and is so dry that even the Sahara would be jealous. Unfortunately, the musk here is not cozy, but more like the powder on grandma's dressing table: dry, almost crunching between the fragrance molecules. You really have to like that, not to say it takes some getting used to. Plus this penetrating green, diffusely fruity note, really difficult.
Unfortunately, the overall scent progression changes very little, the fragrance remains largely linear.
In the base, the dominant musk and diffuse green fruit are joined by some spicy tobacco. Unfortunately, this is no longer able to save the dryness.
The durability is easily upwards of 12 hours. Possibly even longer on clothing. The silage is also not to be sneezed at. I would attribute a certain opulence to it.
I have to say, an extraordinary fragrance, definitely synthetic and really NOT a blind buy candidate.
