Elegant and Refined
This was my first Amouage fragrance after hearing so much about the brand from YouTube and forums. Seeing that Enclave was an amber minty fragrance, I felt like it would be right up my alley so I took the plunge and blind bought it. I definitely would not recommend doing that, but it ended up working out for me as I absolutely love this scent profile. I was a little worried the spearmint would smell like chewing gum, but the way it's blended with the other spices gives it this luxurious feel. I get a lot of spearmint and cinnamon bark at the top, followed by a rich and sweet leather and a bunch of amber. I also pick up on that famous Amouage frankincense note dancing around in the heart. Enclave smells so regal and refined, and boasts excellent projection and longevity. I get a minimum of 8 hours out of this fragrance with loud projection and an intoxicating sillage. The scent leans a bit masculine to my nose, but I feel like a woman could definitely pull this one off in the right setting. I am so glad I went with this one as my first Amouage. It definitely lives up to the hype and leaves me wanting more.

Depends on the Day
Azzaro's Wanted By Night is a hard one to rate for me since my opinion seems to change about it every time I use it. Some days it's an amazing clubbing beast that has a lovely balance of sweetness and spiciness that I can't get enough of. While other days it smells like synthetic mess that assaults my nose and makes me think it should be classified as chemical warfare. But despite how I personally feel about the scent, I can objectively say that the performance and longevity on this one are excellent and it lives right at home in the Fall/Winter evenings out in the clubs. If you are looking for something loud and unapologetic, Wanted by Night is the fragrance for you.

Safe but Overplayed
This is one of those fragrances that I smell everywhere in the summertime. It's not new or unique, but it has a great scent profile and can easily be pulled off by any guy in most situations. And as such, it's likely one of the most owned men's fragrances available today. The longevity is surprisingly decent for an EDT and it has solid projection. I think it's a very likeable and mass appealing fragrance, but it just doesn't wow me like others in my collection. But it's nice having a fragrance I can keep in my gym bag in case of an emergency that I know smells good and will perform well enough.

PDM Layton on a Budget
Let's not beat around the bush here; Detour Noir is a 90-95% accurate clone of Parfum de Marly's Layton. It's definitely not as smooth and well blended as Layton in the opening, but the dry downs are basically indistinguishable from each other. I tested it with a sample of Layton I received and not a single person I asked could tell the two apart. Al Haramain really nailed it this time around. Smells like a masculine and spicy apple pie. If you enjoy the scent profile but don't want to pay $300+ dollars for it, Detour Noir is an excellent alternative for 1/10 the price of the original. And despite the hideous bottle, the atomizer is pressurized and one of the best on any of my fragrances. This one is an easy buy from me.

Citrus Musk Bomb
Renaissance is probably the most photorealistic citrus scent I have ever experienced. The opening literally smells like you took some fresh lemon and orange peels and smashed them together under your nose. It's so natural smelling and invigorating, and the minty undertone gives it a bit of a greenness. The citruses stick around for a surprisingly long time which is difficult to do with those top notes. As it dries down, the fragrance becomes a white musk bomb with little whiffs of those beautiful opening citrus notes. For a Spring/Summer freshie like this, the performance is outstanding. It easily lasts 8+ hours on my skin with medium-loud projection. Considering you can regularly find this one at discounters for
