Alternative to Oud Maracuja?
Short and sweet: yes!

In direct comparison of the two fragrances, it can only be noted that the opening of Azzure Aoud is fruitier than its big counterpart.
The passion fruit stands out even more and lingers in a similar range as in Oud Maracujá. In the drydown, I no longer perceive a difference.
-
Longevity?
-
There are no significant differences here either. On my skin, both fragrances perform for 10 hours. The fruity radiance fades after about 5 hours.
-
Sillage?
-
Be careful when dosing the fragrance. Here too, the room fills quickly with just a few sprays. We know this from Oud Maracuja.
-
Bottle?
-
Quality craftsmanship. Visually appealing. The cap is made of plastic and does not quite match the color of the sprayed bottle. But for the purchase price, this is a great deal.
-
Where would I wear this perfume?
-
Definitely not in the office! The scent is too strong.
But I can definitely imagine it in a club or at a festive gathering.
With friends in a pub, at a fair, or generally at outdoor events, you certainly can't go wrong with it. As long as you don't overspray!
The fragrance is also wearable all year round. Due to its fruity strong note, it's suitable for warmer days as well.
-
Conclusion:
-
I am amazed at how well the fragrance has been executed. The performance is excellently good.
I give the fragrance a 9/10!
It will take the place of Oud Maracuja in my collection.
It’s just fun!
I’m glad to have been made aware of this fragrance.
Thank you, Parfumo! :-)
